  • My dad bought a '66 home new in 1966 and the entire neighborhood had to come over to look at it. It was THE car in 1966.

  • I own one of these cars. Have had it since 1984 when I was a senior in High School! I'm currently working on it and hopefully by mid summer she should be a "driver" again YAY :) Your video gives me incentive to get her back on the road

  • I love this Toronado! Good Video.

  • It's huge, lol.

  • what a beautiful car. the wheel arches, the front-wheel drive, the panache.....

  • Great footage. Love the car! What color is your Toronado? It appears to be a light blue or light green. My dad had a '66 that looks just like yours. It was Frost Green I believe (light green) with dark green interior.

  • Elizabeth Taylor bought hubby Richard Burton a white 1966 Toronado for his 40th birthday and presented it to him on the set of "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" while they were filming in the late fall of 1965. They took it back to Switzerland for the Christmas holidays with their Rolls Royce following behind carrying their luggage.

  • Always loved this model/style. It's a beauty!
