Although I am not against killing rats or mice in a humane way like a snap trap or whatever. I do not think it is right to demonize them. The plague was spread by fleas on rats and such but it was our own filthy slums and that really bought about much of the problem. Plus if you consider all that have suffered through and still continue to suffer in the name of science and medicine. I think we do owe a bit of thanks to the little buggers.

I had 2 big rats living in my wall, I bought an old school wood trap and this exact one placed them side by side. Peanut butter on both, and the electronic one cough one of the rats. Still have one to go. The wood one is $3 and the electronic is $50, both from Home Depot. I hope I catch the other one.

yeah it does and it doesn't fail like the snap traps because the rat gets electrocuted as it touches the second plate. The only thing is that peanut butter never worked for me, I always use cheese. lol, for real i had a problem with rats, bought the trap baited with dry cat food and killed all 4.

Its a really basic trap, 3 metal plates on the floor 2 on positive and one negative, the batteries power up a capacitor. When the rat enters it steps on 2 plates and completes the circuit discharging the capacitor.

Their is enough kick in the capacitor to kill a small creature instantly and hopefully painlessly.
