They already have made it into a cheap performance meter with the dynolicious app, so why not?

How could you get the Phone to transmit the X,Y & Z axis acceleration sensor output ? and was it wire base or via RF (like BT) ?

It was a simple network connection (UDP) over the WiFi connection.
