@sarahnicolehanson It was a few miles away and heading away from us into open land . Besides...it take a lot to scare me. In my life I have seen so many thing much more frightening than that. You can drive away from a storm and be safe.
@MyWolvesrule Thanks for watching my tornado video.. I would imagine it was scary..I would'nt really know as I dont experiance fear the same way as most people. It drives my wife nuts...lol
Trust an experienced chaser here please. This is 101% tornado. You can see the thin veil of dust and debris surrounding the lower portion of the tornado. It is definitely on the ground. Nice capture!
The damage it caused was minor but it was still pretty scary. i drove out toward it to get a better shot but it was all but gone by the time i got out there. i know the area better than most so i had lots of escape routes if it decided to turn towards our location. I hope never to see one again in my area.
I heard this one on the weather network, man, glad toronto didn't get hit, the government would've been in shock, bay street getting wiped out would've been a horror scene.
There was one that went through Clandeboye earlier in the year and then the one over by Granton. It was very scary to see but even worse to hear. It sounded like a frieght train.
The June 8th funnel cloud was west of Lucan near Clandaboye ,this one was south east of Granton. It looked a lot closer to where I was.I contacted A-Channel in London and sent the video in but it did not make it on the news. I have video of the hail storm that preceeded the funnel cloud. The stones were about a half inch in diameter.
second one north of london ...wonder how close it was to the june 8th one ....this was the first one reported right?? it seems to show a translucent dust tube around it showing the contact on teh ground

That does appear a tornado, you can see a dust cloud around the twister.
