  • This isnt Jihad its intolerance

  • I might buy this game.......so I can smash the disk.

  • I hate that religious video game because it is ultra hypocrisy and HITLERITE! This game say to mass-murder those who are different, just liek King Swastika did in the Holocaust! I am agaisnt this game this video condemns too, and shame on you Wal-Mart fro carrying this evil video game of HATE, called Left Behind.

  • Just one distinction:

Left Behind is the franchise, consisting of many books and films, and other games. All of it revolves around the idea of End-Times and Rapture, hence the title. This game is "Left Behind: Eternal Forces".

  • @MrOdyssey1999 - The Left Behind games promote no such thing. Stop believing the lies.

  • @JMcH I HATE Left Behind because it teaches people to murder anyone who does not convert to fundementalist christianity. Genecide is the act of mass murding certain groups of people, based on their religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or color. I want Left Behind to be ILLEGAL for advocating religious GENOCIDE and there the biblical passages that advocate genocide. You commited an Ad Hominem ABusive attack just ot defend and EVIl gane that should be AGAINST THE LAW!

  • @MrOdyssey1999 - What are you talking about? The game does not teach people to murder for any reason. There is no genocide by Christians in the game (and if you actually knew the story, you would know that the genocide is perpetrated against Christians). I committed no ad hominem. I only suggested that you stop believing the lies about this game. You've obviously never played the game and are unquestioningly believing what someone else told you to believe. And censorship actually is illegal.

  • @JMcH This game plays victim, and the religious right often plays victim. Stop calling it lies, becuse the evils of this game are the TRUTH. I NEVER EVER advocate making hate video games about killing off peope l do NOT like such as Titan AE fans. This game teachs you to kill homosexuals and anyone who advocates the separation of church and state. This game is EVIL, The story of the video game ia playing victim, and i do NOT play victim about Titan AE fans. I HATE the evil religious right!

  • @MrOdyssey1999 - Have you even bothered to download the free demo and play the game yourself? There is nothing about homosexuals or the separation of church and state in the game. There is no advocating of killing people in the game for any reason.

  • @JMcH Moreover, I HAT E Titan AE because I fear it will exact revenge against Lion King with the Drej Ship, but I NEVER EVER propose such a genocidal video game that has you kill all Titan AE fans, because I know that is WRONG! Left Behind says to murder homosexuals, secularaists, people of different faiths, of non-evangelical Chrsitian demoniations, and those who advocate sepatation of church and state, this is so EVIL! I will NEVER treat Titan AE fans like this, NEVER!

  • @MrOdyssey1999 - Are you off your medication?

  • @JMcH I am sane, this video game misrepresents people whom the religious right LOVES to HATE! It even has you kill different banches fo Christians other than evangelical such as Catholics, and Christians killing Christains happened during the Protestant Refornation. STOP like Left Behind: Eternal Forces because it equals MASS MURDER of those who don't convert. I NEVER propose a vile video game about killing people who enjoy Titan AE eventhough I have strong beliefs against Titan AE.

  • @MrOdyssey1999 - Sane people don't condemn things sight-unseen. There is nothing about Catholicism or any other Christian denominations in the game. Of course, you wouldn't know this because you've never seen the game yourself. If any of your (and others') accusations could have been proven true, there would be multiple videos depicting the material you (and others) falsely claim is in the game. That material is NOT there, so no one can produce any evidence of it.

  • @JMcH This game is PROPAGANDA for the Religious Right.

  • @MrOdyssey1999 - Prove it. Screenshots and video clips will suffice.

  • @MrOdyssey1999 spoken from a true hater who knows nothing about the truth. it's okay all you athiest will find out soon enough and then beg for mercy when you meet your maker.

  • You just know the atheist version of this would feature an army of academics who have to go forth and reason with deluded theists using arguments of extreem rationality whilst trying to avoid being slaughtered. And you just know it would get banned straight away for being aggressive and insulting religious sensibilities. sometimes I think we are so busy tolerating the intolerable that we are making a rod for our own backs.

  • I have often thought of the implications of a similarly-themed game from a different perspective, like one the CNBC host (Dylan Ratigan?) hypothetically imagined. My guess is that the office would be torched and the game's makers murdered.

  • @1RadicalOne I make you right. The game play would probably involve atheists going round injecting people with truth serum. Naturally it would cary a health warning that the serum was only on the balance of probability not absolute truth serum. It would exist at some future date in which it had been found that a retro virus was responsible for excessive spirituality and in a theistically caused post apocalyptic world. Those cured would be rendered unable to give money to assholes.

  • Read one of my comments.

  • It is. It is a remix of "War" (Track 13, I believe). Then it goes to "Europa" and a bit of "At Wits End" (POTC 3).

  • Wouldn't believe here in Canada I found that game in a discount bin, FOR A BUCK?

It simply didn't sell. It's apparently CRAP!!

  • Jeff Dee was talking about how bad it was, and from a purely game-related perspective, too. Think bugs, crappy graphics, and half-finished code.

  • Unfortunately, there are those who would just love to bring back the dark ages with all the ignorance and barbarism and everything.

  • LOL! This smells like a "conspiracy", eh?

  • Delta, the music makes it worse.

  • Is it an issue of you not liking the music, finding it ill-fitting, or an objection to the idea of putting music to it?

  • @1RadicalOne Only really that it is ill-fitting (too loud and in general is music that makes it harder to concentrate on what he is saying)..

  • I would call that bad mixing - to which I freely admit; Ill-fitting generally means it does not fit thematically.

  • The crusades were fought by people financed by European traders looking for access to trade routes to India and China.

Is that religion? Or did they use religion as a banner?

  • @Temple420org

It's religion. Whether or not strings were pulled it's pretty obvious that people took the bait and indeed killed in the name of religion which they probably would not have if they didn't have a dogma like that to compel them... You could modify things and say the same thing right now about Islamic extremism: "Is it Islam? Or is it just a reaction to poor economies, exploitation and occupation?". IMHO it's Islam, despite that there is a gray area there.

  • @vadimcream There are always gray areas.

  • @Temple420org

Yes but whether or not the impetus for the crusades, 9/11 and the such is a gray area, I think one needs some sort of dogma (religious usually being the strongest) to compel others to perform the actual dirty work. And therefore it's that dogma that becomes the main motivation behind those that carry it out.

I mean I doubt a crusader ever spoke the words "Die foul heretic in the name of European traders looking for access routes to India and China!!!!". You know?

  • @vadimcream So, with that logic...is the US in Iraq because of 911? Because of a Christian Crusade to conquer Islam? Or because all of the oil is in the Middle East and they (Western led coalition forces) need a launching pad to go after Iran...which they formerly controlled with BP/AngloPersianOil...whatever....are we at war in the Middle East over religion or oil? What do you think?

  • @Temple420org

Did I say that every single war ever was motivated by this? No. I'm talking about holy wars, the crusades, the inquisition, and things of the like...

  • @vadimcream Bush called it a crusade.... I am not trying to argue to just get your opinion. Is this a Holy war in Afgahnistan, iraq and Iran or Oil war? Does religion have anything to do with modern wars? Or are they based on resources? And, real estate, and who controls what? The point I was trying to make is that typically finanical reasons dominate wars starting--religion is only blamed.

  • @Temple420org I definitely think in this day and age it's much easier to rally Americans behind a war under the auspices of the whole Christianity vs. Islam thing. There's also this documentary I've been wanting to checkout called "Waiting for Armageddon" that discusses how evangelical Christians with strong lobbying power seek to aggravate wars in the mid-east in order to bring about the rapture sooner. It's been called "Jesus Camp for grown ups". Scary stuff!

  • @vadimcream You maybe right, but I see it as more of a resource war. In my opinion, if there was no oil in the Middle East (and the US wasn't so dependent on oil) there would be no war there regardless of the religious situation. For example, Indonesia is the largest Muslim nation, but there is no war there because there is no vital resource to fight overr.

  • @Temple420org

    @Temple420org

I agree, it isn't motivated primarily by religion, resources is what it's about and without that factor we wouldn't be there. My point is more how the war is sold to the general public, and how it makes it far easier for the powers that be to keep US citizen's supportive of the effort.

  • @Temple420org When that shit is decreed by the Pope... yeah that's religion.

  • @spikesmth The Pope some times is a puppet, not a Puppet Master.

  • I'm worn out from listening to the talk over the music.

  • Fuck conservatives. Fuck them and their "family values".

  • Fuck me!

    Like Ayn Rand said:

"Religion gives people permission to function irrationally".

  • Lose the DUMB MUSIC

  • I don't like this at all, It's scary and 100% believable .... Christians will never stop will they, just accept that their are many people who don't agree, I thought them people preached tolerance .. I guess it's only tolerance for them and no one else right?

  • To be fair, these Dominionists, as they are often termed, are a minority. But they are a significant minority. And they would kill the moderates if give the chance anyways.

  • @1RadicalOne A similar mentality applies to Reconstructionists and Dispensationalists.

  • Which Don also mentioned at the beginning of that episode of AE.

  • @123Larra That's right. They believe only THEY have a right to freedom.
