Ich finde Tim sagt sehr viel wahres, was sich jeder zu Herzen nehmen kann. In jedem ihrer Songs steckt eine Bedeutung dahinter, ich höre Endgame immer noch in Endlosschleife, einfach genial. Meiner Meinung nach ist Rise Against die beste Punk Band. Ich teile ihre Lebensanschauung sehr und mal ganz abgesehen davon: Sie rocken ;-)

Niemand hat je in einem Song geschrieben was ich fühle... Danke fürs Schreiben", und ein anderer hat ziemlich gleich begonnen mit der mail und geschrieben "ich bin ein Soldat seit 8 Jahren, ich war dort, dort, dort & dort... I went on iTunes and read some reviews from hero of war and it's rediculous this song isn't saying military is bad or good it's reletivily neutral. What he's singing about is a soldiers false sence of what it's going to be like in the military and what he regrets when he gets out people need to understand the meaning of this song to enjoy it.. Tim preaches all this garbage about truth in Hero of War but he fails to tell the positive side of the coin, he only focuses on the negative aspects of this war and what we are doing there. I know Tim doesn't give a damn about upsetting their fans but I have been listening since The Unraveling and am appaulled at the one sidedness of his message in this song.

I adore this band, but I didn't like the song. I know it's the truth, I hate that it happens, but I can't listen to it. It's not a bad message, though.
