  • @PrestoMovie12 thanks ! I thought I was going insane for a sec

  • you are t he best man :P

  • cool beans...cool beans.

  • Just an FYI for anyone learning this using the new versions of Xcode (4.whatever at the moment): If typing all the NSAutoreleasePool stuff gives you an error, it's because you don't need it, same goes for the [bucky release]; and pool drain. Apparently it does that on it's own pretty well now. Thumbs up so others can see, or correct me if I'm wrong, but this is what I read and it works!

  • @PrestoMovie12 that is just right:)

  • @thenewboston you don't have to import foundation again after you've imported the interface to the main function - try it without importing foundation and you'll see, it causes a leak in memory or some kind of bugs-could be wrong .

  • What's the difference between release and drain, when clearing the memory at the end?

  • i wish everybody apologised for some random things..

  • Hi, I understand why you import person.h in the .m file, but why didn't you import .m file in the main file but only include .h file?

  • during this tutorial I learned that ; a local fire is dangerous!

  • FIRE!

  • how come you don't have to import Person.m to main

  • @3157Cool The same reason you did not import Foundation.m

  • beautiful man.... just beautiful.

  • I don't know if bucky goes over this in later videos. But isn't it redundant to include the foundation in main and in the Person.h. Once you include the foundation to person.h the code should be usable for the main driver. Unless I'm missing something completely. Please reply

  • @5:15 .... he is a fat ass lol jkjkjkjkj

  • why do you have to use 2 extra integers to store weight and age, can't you just

    -(void) setAge: (int) age;

    -(void) setWeigth: (int) weight;

    ?

  • isnt it easier to use :

    Person *noBody = [Person new];

    ??

  • Thanks a lot Bucky. Respect all the way from Hong Kong

  • why dont you import foundation... in Person.m file

  • programming made easy here .youtube.com/watch?v=P2jfQ1H3yS4

  • the name's Roberts, Greg Roberts

  • is there any way to in put a input by scan f? then put weight and age?

  • "Release the memory my son" :) lol

  • fire that dangerous :) haha

  • "WIndows for life" are you joking...It is the most unsecure unstable software available. You literally pay to get bill gates cock shoved up your ass repeatedly...It's terrible. I would run a linux os over windows any day.

  • @xHeARTtHroBx haha they all have their strengths and weaknesses. I use all three of the main three and love them all. By not using one all you do is limit yourself at the end of the day blind loyalism to companies that couldn't give two shits if you were alive or dead is moronic.

  • @sacredgeometry Honestly, I agree with 100%, blind loyalism is never a good thing.

  • Ok, did, checked, double checked, tripple checked, did again, still cant find the error it says "CarbonCore/fp.h: No such file or directory". All the used files are in the Sources directory . Pls help ^^

  • Edit: ok i kinda fd up my xCode when i tried to get lazarus runnin i think. everything works fine now.

  • so i can't use windows to develop apple apps??? i am really looking forward to learn objective c

  • Bucky: probably a silly question: I hear you say: don't forget to subscribe to my channel. I believe that you sometimes mention your blog too. I appreciate your work tremendously, so I would like to show that appreciation by subscribing. But WHAT exactly should I do then? And where?

    Tom

  • is it a MUST that i have to give age and weight?????????// plz help...

  • 2:45 how is that any easier hehe ?

  • Hey Bucky, got a question. In main you only imported Person.h and not Person.m. I thought we needed main, interface and implementation? Now that you only imported Person.h, and the file does not contain the implementation, how does it work?

  • GUI?

  • Nice tut Greg Roberts??

  • lol, the 27 inch iMac!!! thats pretty big!

  • What is really cool is, to save some time you can use the @property and the @synthesize directives by not having to manually type the set methods!

  • Thanks!  Really helpful!

  • what mic do you use?

  • 2nd!

  • do you prefer to use your windows or mac machine?

  • @novaatje windows for life, especially windows 7, i dont really like mac but its the only thing i can use for developing iphone apps

  • @thenewboston Hehe alright, but was it really worth spening 1800 bucks on? You might aswell have bought a cheap hackintosh, does the job too.

    Anyway, nice tutorials, but kinda useless for me since I dont have a mac ^^

  • @thenewboston you make iphone apps???? :D can u give a link to it?? id love to see your apps...

  • @thenewboston are you actually 350 pounds or are you joking?

  • @thenewboston I don't agree this time :P, Windows 7 is yust a apple computer with a windows system. They stole the spaces and dock and even more from apple. And apple made snow leopard whats even faster then Windows 7 its the fastest computer system ever made...

  • @thenewboston not cool

  • @thenewboston u feel the same after LION??

  • Comment removed

  • How much was your mac btw?

  • @JZomerlei2013 i cant remember exactly but around $1800 i think
