  • were can i find to buy this

  • @teamyugiohbrawlers3 i bought mine from gundamstoreandmore you have to use clippers to remove the pieces and shave off extra plastic otherwise it will look ugly and some pieces won't fit

  • I did not expect this video to be THIS good before I clicked play. I think you captured both the badass & somehow cute factor of these fellas. I personally really like their designs and just recently I ordered the HGUC Dom Tropen, cause IMO is the best looking one (among with Dreissen if heavily modded). Let's hope for a MG 2.0 when The Origin airs!

  • @Novahyou7 Thank you very much! I am glad you enjoyed the video and the models. Yea the Doms are cool.

  • I want this kit! did the eyes really light up? Did it came along with the kit?

  • @PartyLaBabyOff no light up, it was all special effects.

  • Omg ,awesome work, 2 bad , not many people appriciate your vid :(. Keep up the good work \m/

  • @ptrantrian93 hey thanks a lot. I agree. This is probably my best video yet it has like no views compared to my top videos.

  • Very good work I feel a lot of these stop motion videos don't get enough views though for the work put into them.

  • @varzonal haha yea. which is why I ultimately stopped making them and moved onto lego. those videos get way more views for way less effort.

  • Gaia, Mash and Orteiga would be proud : ). What a sweet black tristar set!

  • @VGjoe Yes they would! If I had a RX 78-2 Gundam I would have had them blown that up for revenge.

  • i like it!!!!! or more like i love it!!!!!

  • @kemnp005 Glad that you love it. Wish more people could see this video.

  • awsomeawsomeawsomeawsomeawsomeawsomeawsomeawsomeawsomeawsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @az0997711 Thank you, I am glad you liked it.

  • Hey this is actually really good! I will definitely have to share this with my Facebook group!

  • @MOVEZIG Thank you very much! I think its my best Gundam stop motion yet. And the GM vs Zaku. I am working on another one with the Gogg and Lego.

  • this video owns in every way

  • @satriageta Thank you very much.

  • 2 Doms are better for building one

  • @connectcrap Yep. Glad you liked it.

  • berry nice! wait, so the triple dom kit actually has THREE kits for the price of one!? oh shaft!

  • @bilnabiln. Well for GSAM which is where I normally buy my Gundam model kits. A Dom/Rick Dom is 18.43. 2 dom's would be 36.86 and 3 would be 55.29. The triple dom set is 43. 35. It's closer to 3 kits for the price of two. Considering you get some extra pieces like the stand and the explosion piece, its worth the extra 7 dollars. So if you think about it for 37/43 you get 2 doms like you normally would, and the last 7 dolalrs gets you the special fist, stand, explosion piece, and a third dom.

  • insane men.. . me will try this =D. great job

  • @bonzvid Thanks, you most certainly should!

  • Did the 3rd dom just shot that GM by the crotch? o,o

Nice way to stop build >.< brilliant!

  • @AsianDelinquent Lol. That was not intentional. Thanks.

  • they build each other and they own together O_O

  • @Hikirouishike Yep. I wanted to reverse their anime fate. Too bad I don't have the RX 78 Gundam for them to blow up.

  • @ziljin lols XD that be epic

  • @Hikirouishike I might get the Gundam in the future if not for the gundam but for the bazooka so I can put it on my GM.

  • Good job!

are those real lights in the Dom's ?

  • @Red5Cherry Thanks. The lights was added in via Supernova with GIMP 2.0

  • its sooooooo gooooood

  • @az0997711 Thanks!

  • Really liked this video. You have improved your technique since the early videos.

Got my first Gundam models today.

Look forward to seeing more of your videos.

    Subscribed.

  • @drewpyfz6 Awesome glad you think so. Then I managed to get worse and lazy with the later gundam model stop motion videos. But after I finish some lego stop motion I will be making straight up gundam models vs other gundam models stop motion.

    What models did you get?

  • @ziljin First order was for 1/100 MG Astray Red frame and 1/100 MG RX-78-3 V2.0 - arrived today.

    There are more coming....lol

    Have you tried using StopmotionPro?

It has great rig removal built in and you can draw directly on the frames.

    It can save time.

Look forward to seeing more of your videos - have watched them all now.

  • @drewpyfz6 It costs money lol. No thanks. But I will do my best to make good stop motion videos.

  • @ziljin That makes what are you doing, even more impressive...lol

  • @drewpyfz6 Later on I will do more advanced stuff and get a HD webcam so the camera is still. The only advanced things I have done is propping pieces up with lego then using GIMP to edit out the lego to give the illusion of levitation.

Also nice choice of kits. Those are great MG models. I mostly bought HG models because I wanted to get more models for my money. And lots of the models never made it into the MG line.

  • @ziljin My choice of Gundam kits is based firstly on the best articulation - for stop motion, then by the look of them.

The general lee transformer video by Patrick Boivin got me interested in Gundam models.

You have done extremely well with limited tools.

Look forward to seeing your videos.

  • @drewpyfz6 You are making stop motion? Awesome I just subscribed anticipating your videos. That's a good idea with the articulation. Well I hope you make some epic stop motion. You might want action bases since they let your models do more action.I will someday get some action bases.

  • @ziljin The Action bases were part of my last order, realised they dont come with the models .... and hopefully will be here next week.

I have been using the soldering stands, as per Mr Boivin "Making Of Jazz with a General problem"

should get better poses with the action bases though.

    Thanks for the subscribe.

  • @drewpyfz6 So you are already working on a stop motion? No pressure of course.

And also this guy Raven101091 has a nice tutorial for doing laser beams.

  • @ziljin Thanks for the laser beam tutorial, I am sure that will be very useful.

  • @drewpyfz6 No problem.

  • hey, how long does it take to make this video:?

  • @katsuneshinsengumi Not that long. I cannot give you an accurate estimate since I always take big breaks. And the camera might have to charge battery, so that squanders time. Plus I took the time to denub all the pieces before I could assemble them via stop motion. I do everything slow so it took me days.

A disciplined person could probably do it in a day if not hours. Since I read that some people can build a hg model in less than an hour.

  • I'm pretty sure the one person who disliked this accidentally clicked the wrong button.

  • @Chessmaster235 Or don't like stop motion or me lol.

  • OH MY god just awesome..!

  • @wilsonwenchunwai Thank you. It is indeed awesome.

  • stop motion win

  • AMAZING

    Period

  • where did you get this kit and how much does it cost?

    definately fav'd since i love doms! ^-^

  • @SpecialAgentRavage I bought it at Gundamstoreandmore for like 45 dollars. Your profile says you livie in Canada so you should check out Hobbywave. Probably the best place to buy gundam model kits in Canada.

  • @ziljin thanks! i checked it out and they didnt actually have this particular kit

but thats perfectly fine, since they had an excellent selection anyway

    thanks for the tip! :)

  • @SpecialAgentRavage you mean you cannot find it or it is out of stock? Well it is out of stock at their website.

  • @ziljin couldnt find the kit itself

    looked under gunpla, then hguc

checked the whole thing and got zilch

  • @SpecialAgentRavage well search triple dom and you should find the link but it is currently out of stock anyway.

  • @ziljin well, thats alright

im pretty pleased with their selection anyway :)

  • They are as good as the LEGO videos :)

    I defenatly subscribe (:

  • @Geertos13 Awesome thank you!

  • that was awesome build

  • @GundamFan4Ever1 Thank you.

  • wow...wtf, that was pretty awesome dude!

  • @hidaditsme Yea this is my best one so far. Makes me proud.

  • That Is

    AAAWWWEEESSSOOOMMMEEEE

  • @doublejproductions11 Thank you. Your excitement makes me happy.

  • You got some skills keep it up

  • @ShadowGundam1989 Thanks. And I will.

  • beautiful

  • @RedMinotaur Thank you.

  • That was so awesome! I have the SD Gundam version of this guy! :D

  • @OptimusSmyth Thanks for the compliment and for subscribing. I want to get SD kits but too many awesome 1/144 kits so I will never have time or money to get into SD lol.

  • No prob! Actually I meant the Destroyer Dom action figure from SDG Force. I have a sweet stop motion of him if you wanna check it out.

  • @OptimusSmyth Well I saw that one, and when I have time I will watch the rest. The Sapper Zaku one was neat. He owns them all lol.

  • Yeah, I need to get more...

  • @OptimusSmyth I want to get mass zakus.

  • Yeah, Zakus are my favorites! What are the Mass ones like?

  • @OptimusSmyth lol. when I said mass zakus, I meant get a massive amount of Zakus. Like Zaku I, Zaku II, Zaku I Sniper, Zaku II FZ, Zaku II F2, and any others that come out. They are all in the HGUC line or MG line.

  • Oh, I see.

  • That was awesome.

  • @Hockeyfan82 Thanks. I will be making more stop motion.

  • AH-MAY-ZING

  • @RuthIessVillain Thanks, glad you think so.

  • cool song

  • @LegoRandomStudio Thanks, Kevin MacLeod has super awesome songs. And all free.

  • nicely done but whyed the gm have to die ; ; lol btw howed you get their eyes to glow like that

  • @123asd1 To make up for the anime lol. I used Gimp 2.0 Supernova lighting effect. Learned it from spirtspear. He has a stop motion tutorial on his channel.

  • awesome video

  • @xtort1220 Thank you for the compliment.

  • Jet stream Attack! well done sir

  • @jabman025 Awesome thanks.

  • This is mad epic Eric!!!! It is my favorite stop motion to date!!!! Keep up the great work!!!!

  • @GundamGuns Thanks a lot. Now I have set up high standards for my future stop motions.

  • cool

  • @LegoBros09 Thanks.

  • cool!

  • @MrCoollegostuff Thanks.

  • I was just messin' with ya. These vids are pretty cool.

  • @PatrickSim Sweet thanks. But the Doms do look a bit funny during the reading manual parts.

  • Absolutely amazing.

  • @Grarrgle Thank you for the compliment.

  • thumbs up! :) very clever and dramtic music!

  • @LikeGracesVideo Thanks. Kevin MacLeod has a lot of great music.

  • @ziljin no prob please rate my vid its in a competition

  • @LikeGracesVideo no prob, could u rate my vid, its in a competition

  • Amazing man. Do you use a computer program to help you with these? Or just a normal camera and video editing?

  • @GundamFan89 I use Gimp 2.0. To add in the Dom mono-eye activation part (learned from spirtspear), and use it to edit out any lego holding up pieces. And in some parts I edited out scotch tape I used to hold parts in the air.

  • Wow this is truly one of the best stop motion builds I have seen on youtube!

  • @frow55 Thanks. I wanted mine to stand out so people will actually want to watch it.

  • Aww no pictures I want to see what I asked you somehow

  • @greenmondaymorning Yea I did not go with that. But I can do it in the detail slideshow someday. Vacation coming up so videos will stop coming soon.

  • Epic win!

  • @Irrelevant402 It is indeed epic. Now I have to figure out how to make future stop motion even more epic.

  • @ziljin I don't know what models you have but maybe having the Zeta Gundam transform into Waverider mode...and then hitting something? I'd recommend doing some kind mass-battle for another day.

  • @Irrelevant402 I have mostly grunt suits. Here is what I might do. Record the building scene first. And then wait until I figure out what to do for the "action" scene and then film that later. I have suddenly become more conscious of my spending so I will try to avoid buying new models anytime soon.

  • lol amazing stop motion bro!! dom got to build his own lil crew from the ground up

  • @zversus Thanks. I figured no one would want to see a dom being built the same way three times in a row.

  • This is excellent work. I'd love to try something link this but I don't think I'd have the patience. Looking forward to you next video.

  • @tc012009 Well if you have the patience to remove nubs off pieces, then you should have patience to do stop motion. I would say properly building a gundam model kit takes more effort. Well making the stop motion creative requires some work too.

  • Wow! This is just amazing! Great Job on the stop motion! It looked great altogether.

That one thumbs down is just a silly mistake.

  • @Phantom1234X Wow I got 25 thumbs up awesome. I think that is the most my videos have ever gotten. Thanks. I really outdid myself on this one. Not sure how I will top it with future ones.

  • Dude that was NICE!!!!! Damn, makes me want to do make a stop motion lol...

  • @KrnMusicLover23 You should make them. Everyone should make them!

  • @ziljin K after I finish my MG Wing Gundam lol

  • @KrnMusicLover23 Good to hear.

  • Haha, that was awesome! Nice little story and very well done!

  • @MexicanMatt46 Thanks. Glad you think so. I hope to have future stop motion like that as well.

  • @ziljin Great! Again, really enjoyed it and already subscribed. Look forward to your future projects!

  • @MexicanMatt46 Thanks. And I subbed back.

  • this is the best 1 i've seen on your channel cuz. try using a light next time, so u dont get these dark then light images.

  • @OhMyGodImAsian Well of course it is the best. I try to make each one better than the last. Some was light because I did those parts during night.

  • That was awesome!

  • @daevster Thanks. Awesome was what I was going for.

  • THAT WAS EPIC!

  • @LegoLee329 Thanks. That was my reaction when I first saw it.

  • You did a great job on that

  • @SoulCalibur1994 Thank you for your praise.

  • Really good stuff, I liked how the first Dom made the second then they both made the third!

  • @TFfanmaiku Thanks. But now for future kits, this one will overshadow them. But I guess I would not want to repeat the same ideas anyway.

  • Awesome!! that's a lot of work there. ^_^

  • @meadeslemicah Yep. Most of the work was nub removal! And taping the pieces onto the hands. That was annoying.

  • P sweet

  • @Jirras Thanks. I intend on making more like this.

  • Very impressive. How long did it take to make it?

  • @ISanjyuI Around 5 days including removing the pieces from runners, shaving off nubs, taking pictures, building the kits, editing, selecting a song, and then putting it all together in Microsoft Movie Maker.

Most of the time was spent shaving nubs lol.

  • Realy well made! Enjoyed watching it.

  • @Doan84 Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it.

  • awsome that was real cool

  • @spirtspear Thanks. I outdid myself with this one. But that means for future ones I will have to be even more creative to do better than this one.

  • Your stop motions are awesome. I would never have patience for that. :D

  • @Gomenchaiii Thanks. Well I have a lot of free time right now. Plus there are like 500 gunpla reviewers on youtube and probably many more online. I like stop motion, so I figure I do both to ensure my "uniqueness" on youtube.

  • i like the fact that the doms built each other nice

  • @sken74 Thanks. I got the idea after watching some other stop motion video.
