I have been to Symi this summer by boat.The island and the xwrio are beautiful,but we had a bad experience with police and the limenarhio:they made me crazy with formalities and offended me shouting i am a liar..why?just because i came from turkey with my boat!they also thought i couldn't understand greek and i clearly heard they said i'm malakas + swearwords.i felt as a criminal when i was only a tourist!i love greece as a second home,but after this experience i must say i'm disappointed

well, you shouldn't be disappointed at all because greek police is used to offend people and swear even the greek people so...

its very common to behave bad, they are not very polite and educated...

that's a mistake because i have been in many other places and nowhere i saw or heard about these facts committed by police or people who work with tourists.that's why i'm not going to come a second time to Symi,on the other hand i still love Greece and hope it won't happen again anything similar
