  • Nice music in the background

  • good job guys i loved it (do some more please)

  • Hip Hop Was Butchered & Murdered BY THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA...NOW MOST PEOPLE DONT KNOW HOW TO REALLY EXPLAIN WHAT HIP HOP TRULY IS AND ITS HISTORY...AND THE ONLY REASON WHY THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA LOVES TO PROMOTE FAKE NEGATIVE WANABE HIP HOP...THATS BECAUSE HIP HOP EDUCATED THE YOUTH ON A LARGER LEVEL..IT WAS REVOLUTIONARY..AND YOU KNOW THAT THE POWERS THAT BE..DONT LIKE CRITICAL THINKERS!!!!...

  • the correct term of breakdance is BBOYING.

  • The song you put aint hip-hop! Damn ,in america hip-hop is D-E-A-D! DEAD! these beats with the stupid clap! Bliah!

  • @LForceCrew hip hop died in 1998 more or less

  • man those outlines were fuckin toy, and those werent to express feelings, those were for gettin ups... only thing was that they were toys...

  • the song in the begining is "Im sprung" by T-Pain

  • Whats the song in the begginingg.

  • i'd say hip hop culture is being burned by the south, like soulja boy and lil wayne rapping about cars, money.chicks and jewlery. its lost its purpose

  • I agree with you 100%, the rap showed on tv nowadays is all about jewellety and girls and cars, and most of them are from the south

  • I'd rather say it's destruction starting with the westcoast, i used to listen to westcoast rap to but no im starting to listen to the real old hip hop, the golden ages, and it changed , they should of should it of made 2 different genres instead of changin' it

the golden ages will never come back

  • westcoast started Hip hops downfall?

    bullshit!

blame the south not the west. atleast we had real lyrics

  • yeah i hate blaming people for something they did, but the SOUTH killed hip-hop, dumb hicks

  • "rap is something you do but hip hop is something you live ..." remmember that ! look , i don't rap , i don't break , i'm not a dj or a Mc but HIP HOP is my culture since i'm very young ! i think hip hop ! f*** now all hip hop musics are comercial , nobody rap by love to the music , but for money ... but i still hope the next cultures and teenagers will remmember the HIP HOP CULTURE ...

HIP HOP culture is eternal !

    peace...

  • old days the dj was the mc!

now its any random person with turntables

  • what's the song called staring 4:52?

  • hip hop is a culture that represents the way of life in the bronkx, the rap, djing, graffit and breakin is something very strong on their culture but this isn't what defines it,a person may not be an graffiti artist,a rapper,a bboy or a dj and still live the culture so I don't buy this thing that the media sell nowadays about rappers that are pimps and this gangstar way of life, they rap but this do not make them part of the hip hop culture, most of them dont even now how people in bronkx lived.

  • let's see, I'd say hip hop means intelligence and movement and the 4 main pillars are

    1. Rapping

    2. DJing and creating beats

    3. Breakdancing

    4. Graffiti

all that dirty south shit and fake shit comin out I wouldn't call hiphop because it isn't intelligence and movement anymore, with some exceptions like Joe Budden, Eminem, Nas, Papoose, AOTP and such

wasn't it started in the 70's by DJ Kool Herc's breakdance beats?

  • its not called breakdanceing its called bboy and not rapping its mc's

  • @Wyvern108 TOTALY CORRECT!!! RESPECT!!!

  • corny dudes..!!!

  • have a head from zulu nation tell the history

  • good vid. hit my link and watch the difference between hip hop & rap and another vid called the difference between an emcee & a rapper. those vids are what you tube needed.

  • wowzerz-this is some kind of crazy ass coincidence. i look up "history of hip hop" and i find this shit...which is filmed on kadena...where i am. ain't that some shit?

  • It was okay on the mainstream side.

  • Hip-Hop is about living with truth! that's why the spirit is so strong! - REC DA TECHNICIAN

  • the vid was alright, but you missed many key points to hiphop

  • This is not about Hip Hop..This is about rap...

"Hip Hop is so much more than Rap, so much more than beats" KRS-One

"Rap is something you do and Hip Hop is something you live" also KRS-One

Hip Hop is DJing, MCing, Bboying (called breakdancing in the media)& Writing Graffitti`and beatboxing, the way we dres and talk... Loving Rap music is not being Hip Hop...

  • you forgot djing the lost art

  • That was cool..nice breakin'

    and fresh prince song

    haha

  • Wow, this video really brings it home - Hip hop is the pro wrestling of the music industry. It's fan base consists of the underachievers of the world. Hip hop celebrates the spirit of failure, stupidity, ignorance, and disrespect. It has almost completely derailed the progress of the black community. Too bad being a loser is now the aspiration of so many lost souls. Peace.

  • Nice Shit

  • It was all tite man..till the krumping part..That aint a part of hip hop
