To BillieJean2302- the charity that Mark was supporting is run by a lady who lost her son to myotubular and every year on his birthday, sends a paper lantern to the sky. Mark was so touched by the story, he wrote the song to perform at the concert - " Lantern"

This is so beautiful.

His voice is so warming and touching and emotional, and the musical arrangement and this, and many of his solo songs, is really powerful and stunning. I really don't get why his solo stuff didn't do well. I have all 3 of his solo albums and they are 3 of the best I own (and trust me, I own a lot.)
