  • The 60's were great for the BeeGees. Too bad disco had to come along.

  • ONE THING I CANT UNDERSTAND IS WHY THIS GREAT SONG WASNT RELEASED AS A SINGLE (IN THE LATE 60'S) AS IT CLEARLY WAS ONE OF THEIR MOST POPULAR SONGS, SO SAD TO HEAR ABOUT ROBIN'S ILLNESS.

  • @gilllew It depends on where you live. It wasn't released in the UK as a single, but in the US it was, and it became their highest charting single of the 60's in the US, peaking at #6 in 1969.

  • Robbin!!

  • God Bless you Robin

  • I just read that Robin is very ill. We love you Robin!

  • His voice is so different – vibrato, yes, but brilliant.

  • Great song, great voice, for ever , for all the season , for all the time , for ever, and thank you to remember me best time of my life.

  • He´s so handsome, I love him I wish I had lived at 70´s beside him :-C mm but I´m only 24 buuuaahhh

  • bel,maar,als,gisteren,

  • j'ai aimé cette chanson quand elle est sortie et je l'écoute aujourd'hui avec toujours autant de plaisir !!

  • Hi to ya all there. I wanna know something about this song. I'd like to know what's the meaning of the the lirycs? I'm an english learner, I can clearly understand each single word but I can't understand the intrinsic lirycs meaning. Thanks for any response.

  • @galenokatana Well, If you went through some things people like the one in the song did, it's not as hard. Imagine you did something wrong, and thought it was right. Everybody hates you now. Now you start to cry, which makes everybody happier. They're happier because you are suffering. Basically about wrong choices and the consequences.

  • Excellent sound. Thanks for uploading.

  • @soundwavs1961c Ugly your ass, how can you dare to say something bad about Robin ???

  • @soundwavs1961c Shame on you

  • what? 4 Dislikes? thats gotta be a joke

  • I started a new job 3 weeks ago, became injured helping a guy push start a motor bike. I fell as the moron took off and then the company refused to acknoledge this as a legitimate injury as I was working "outside my scope of work" even though the guy was my boss. After 2 weeks of not allowing me to sit during the day or perform light duty they fired me. I was present for many cut downs as if I had deserved the injuries to my back and wrists, shoulders. Now I am back to being unemployed & INJURED

  • Great performance... :-) Here, Robin looks kinda like Ray Bolger (wizzard of oz / scarecrow) :-)

  • ..it's definitely one of a kind.. great music from the great artist, the bee gees may vanished but their songs will live forever.. than

  • the dislike bar is the size of justin bieber penis

  • Crispy voice ! amazing!

  • Crispy voice & distinctive....

  • This song is one of my favorite of Robin's, his voice is fantastic, brillient, specially in this song, it is really show off.

  • IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII Looked at the sky...running my hands over my eyes...............OMG....what a beautiful song and voice!!

  • Japan, Australia, london, Manhattan, -Robin's voice is admired , replayed and again admired everywhere. Thanks to youtube , we too can hear this song over and over again. I am obsessed with this video more than any other youtube performance. Second to this video is the Bee Gees "you win again" in black and white.

  • Myuy Buena ..............!

  • He really sings and holds out so strongly, especially during the chorus and ending. I always thought Robin was the better singer of the brothers, but maybe that's just me. :/

  • where are all of them now.. retired or dead already?

  • @RommyTDW93 Barry & Robin are still very much active. Maurice died in 2003 during surgery for a twisted intestine.

  • @BeeGees78 oh my..

  • @RommyTDW93 Who cares: What they did is EVERLASTING, it stands in time and space for ever and ever until man will live on this beatfiful planet, Earth! and until they will know the word: LOVE! Yolanda!

  • @RommyTDW93 Unfortunately, there was a news story today that Robin has liver cancer, and the prognosis is "not good". So sad.

  • the moment he blew a single note...you know for sure it's robin. very unique voice. sublime. perfect. my vote for best voice ever. nothing compares. the greatest singer ever to grace the earth.

  • AH! Que lindo Robin, adorei!

  • how can i get a copy of this concert? many thanks....

  • @leilalovesrobin just download this

  • I'm one of the people who didn't know about this song before Faith no More did their cover version of it. I like a lot of the both versions... On another matter if you know the guy who imitates sheeps he sounds a little similar :D Adrian Mumsey or something..

  • Great song, maybe the my favorite of all times.

  • saw them back in the 70s!

  • This song used to make my cry when I was a kid. LOL

  • THE BEE GEES ARE NUMBER ONE WITH A BULLET , LOVE YOU GUYS AND ALL YOUR MUSIC

  • incredible shit the bee gees are an incredible bunch

  • @32xxMAGICxx32 HAHAHA... you hit it on the head, the BeeGees esp. early on, created such heavy tunes, like this one, I Started a Joke. a lot of great covers, but ain't nothing like the original Originals

  • This was the first song I learned who Bee Gees was, I was so impressed by his beautiful voice then. How old was I? 11? 12? or 13?

    Thank you!

  • Its difficult to type a comment here when i can't see the keyboard, cuz my eyes get misty. Being a musician parttime, i kinda know that a song that gets your attention without pause is a great one. all the beegees have talent. what a great song.

  • @alexwritestube, I'm with you.

  • Awesome..Tanxx!

  • que super cancion waoooooooo

  • I robin. But I dont get the right hand on his ear everytime he sings this song, and some other song. Lord Robin is great.

  • He does this to hear his voice better since, when on stage with mics, instruments, etc., it may be very difficult to hear your voice and, in his case, he's comfortable doing this as opposed to, say, wearing tiny headphones.

  • una de las mejores que he escuchado

    GENIAL

  • I'am 13 years old.... great song. beautifull, thanks for upload. sorry my english. yo hablo español

  • @fidelius1960 im 14, the bee gees rules!!!

  • @fidelius1960 *Looks at username* Seems legit..... thumbwhore.

  • Would you believe that Michael Jackson saw the Bee Gees around that time and absolutely loved them. He had memorized most of their songs words for words. They were an inspiration for him.

  • how do you know this? i love both michael jackson and the beegees!

  • I once saw an interview with Michael Jackson around in 1985, and he mentioned that he could not have made the 'Thriller'-album without the inspiration of the Bee Gees. He really loved their songs.

  • Hoy 2009 tambien puedo decir que esta interpretacion musical es magistral!!!

  • we about to loose a chapter of music history in our days :(

  • Great, great version. I'm really liking that pedal steel guitar - awesome.

  • I love this song, the lyrics.

    Make me cry.

  • Thank you BeeGees78 for this wonderful song!

  • where does this footage come from...well done :)

  • I'll never forget the Bee Gees. I love you all. Great talents I miss you also you Maurice R.I.P. Love you Robin Gibb.

  • Los mas grandes... Lastima que Andy Gibb los dejara tan joven porque era una voz prodigiosa... Siempre Bee Gees...

  • great performance. I know the Brothers have said they have never had any training or lessons. Ever. They're just that good.

  • Thank you for another version of Robin's masterpiece. He sang phenomenally well in Japan: with a pure, focussed tone and most of all, with terrific breath control. The melody is so well-supported, and he never runs out of breath. I wonder, was he studying voice at the time? Had he desisted from smoking? Or was he simply, as it appears, better nourished and healthier? In any case, he is a treasure. Hats off to Sir Robin - and to you for posting this video. Thank you

  • this video is way better then the more recent video's and i don't know why he's so good probily the grace of god ....he's crazy :) exteremly wicked video. better then stayin alive.

  • merci, merci ,merci,

une vidéo de robin au Japon en 1973 c'est la première fois sur cette chanson et en plus de qualité et robin la chante avec son coeur, chapeau bas.
