sheik is one of the main reasons why i love OoT so much. i remember the first time i played this game. each time sheik appeared, i got all excited. sheik was cool and mysterious, and i was always awestruck by the way she spoke. i'm not one for poetry or anything, but when she spoke in those poetic manners, i always thought it sounded really cool and really deep. like despite all the shit that was happening in hyrule, sheik somehow made it seem like everything would be ok.
Skyward Sword is a great game. But seriously: Where all are the memorable tunes like this one? I'm on the Final Boss on Skyward Sword right now, and only once did I hear a song that deserved to be listened to on Youtube.
That song was Zelda's Lullaby. I think I'm going to go listen to it now.

The makes me gag up on tears every time i hear it. It's gut reaction. I used to play ocarina of time when i was younger, and i would speed through the end of the game after meeting sheik, in one long marathon, and i knew this song heralded the end of the game. That's why i get so sad.

This song doesn't have a rhythm. I can't find a consistent tempo. I've tried tapping along but I can't find a beat. I swear this song is just a melody.
I didn't like Twilight Princess, but I did enjoy all the others, and at first, I didn't like Wind Waker, but after I played it, I thought it was alright, still me best Zelda game is Ocarina of Time (in response to Thegreywolf777)
@AriochStarr Oh you GOTTA give it a try. Personally, it's my favourite, or at least within my top 3 Zelda games but they do a great job of story telling and it has a very serious and dark atmosphere around it. Dunno, worth a buy but might not be your favourite.

I was eight when I played the first Zelda game on NES, turn 32 this month, and I still haven't 'outgrown' Zelda. I will be playing Skyward Sword when it (finally!) comes out.

No links or any solid evidence? Then you lie. Destructoid, IGN, Gamespot, Game Informer, and other critics have confirmed that Zelda is a High quality franchise. Most cite Ocarina as their favorite and surround it with nostalgia.

Ocarina of Time is one of the greatest games of all time and is the father of modern RPGs, but that does not change the fact that most modern zelda games are trash. I love the Zelda franchise more than any other franchise in existence. Pokemon comes in at second. 2 of the most amazing games I've known in all my life and they're both hated on. I have even gone so far as to having a tattoo done from the Zelda franchise. I wish that people would go back and play the games that made up my childhood. Screw CoD screw BF screw Uncharted and Infamous. Sure they're good games, but Zelda had such an impact on my childhood. LoZ <3

I mean I have a PS3 and I enjoy the games there and the graphics are nice, but I don't actually play it much. I play on my PC more than anything anymore. But if you sat me in front of an N64 with LoZ:OoT and MM then I would sit there and play for HOURS. All productivity in my life would stop and I would just play (Hell why not toss in Wind Waker too :D). I love the franchise. Skyward <3

It's hated because it's so awesome, Zelda is one of the greatest video game series ever made! It defines my childhood, I know a lot of people who love Zelda and respect it even though they haven't played it. I'm not a person who cares for graphics, I care if the game is fun, that's what Zelda games are they are fun, video games are meant to be enjoyable but today many people have forgotten what makes a game great.

If they would've made a new, dark, violent and with realistic graphics. I think a lot of old players would like it. It's sad though. This song reminds me of my childhood and times i want to relive.

@Thegreywolf777 I love the zelda series, the only reason i hate skyward sword is because of the gay wii, i wish nintendo would go back to controllers, in my opinion i think they are better. for example, how the hell would want to stand in the middle of a room swinging their arms like retards after a 7 hour school day or 8 hour work day? id rather sit back in my recliner and relax. Thats just my opinion though.

Ocarina of Time is one of the greatest games of all time and is the father of modern RPGs, but that does not change the fact that most modern zelda games are trash. The last zelda game I truly enjoyed was wind waker.

Skyward Sword is getting hate because it looks, for lack of a better term, too Japanese. The fact nintendo has taken quite a hit in profitability is also disturbing. Now to clarify, I am not hating on Zelda or its fans, I despise what its become. Hell, I still have OoT and MM for my n64 not to mention on my laptop for on the go gaming.

I love the Zelda franchise more than any other franchise in existence. Pokemon comes in at second. 2 of the most amazing games I've known in all my life and they're both hated on. I have even gone so far as to having a tattoo done from the Zelda franchise. I wish that people would go back and play the games that made up my childhood. I mean I have a PS3 and I enjoy the games there and the graphics are nice, but I don't actually play it much. I play on my PC more than anything anymore. But if you sat me in front of an N64 with LoZ:OoT and MM then I would sit there and play for HOURS. All productivity in my life would stop and I would just play (Hell why not toss in Wind Waker too :D). I love the franchise. Skyward <3

It's hated because it's so awesome, Zelda is one of the greatest video game series ever made! It defines my childhood, I know a lot of people who love Zelda and respect it even though they haven't played it. I'm not a person who cares for graphics, I care if the game is fun, that's what Zelda games are they are fun, video games are meant to be enjoyable but today many people have forgotten what makes a game great.

If they would've made a new, dark, violent and with realistic graphics. I think a lot of old players would like it. It's sad though. This song reminds me of my childhood and times i want to relive.
