I was an extra also AND a stand in for Peter Jurassic, the "NTSB Investigator". The crashed plane was filmed on thr grounds of Buckley Guard Base. I was at Stapleton Airport for a number of scenes including in unused concourse E. The theme song was actually good.
The movie was filmed in Denver, Colorado - They used part of the convention center to make you think it was the airport! - They even hot footage at the old Stapleton International Airport!
That is Cheryl Ladd. She is so pretty.

ATC- I show a solid line of thunderstorms, looks like the best heading is, turn right heading 035"
Captain - "doesn't look that good to us" were going to maintain present heading 180" -
ATC - According to our radar that will put you in the worst of it"
