I've been a fan of S&H since the show first aired in 1975....my best friends and I used to watch every episode and then the next day in school discuss it in great detail,completely enamored with these two guys! Had to watch this again! Love clip 2:13--David's beautiful smile in that adorable blue hat. So cute. This show still stands out because of the great team Soul and Glaser made. You can't hide true friendship--and their friendship is so evident and sincere. This song fits their videos the best.

My favorite cop show of all time. My dad used to watch it with me. My dad was a detective and used to say he wished he could solve crimes as fast as these two did. He really liked the show. I loved the show and these two characters. Love the two actors. Great friendship they have always had. They made Starsky and Hutch's friendship believable because they really felt they way about each other and more. Great job!!!

Great song for a great show of its time. I think David Soul is the best looking actor that ever came out of the 70s. He just needed to lose the mustache and keep his hair trimmed short. Season 4 made him look a little like a pimp. But a cute pimp just the same.

I think the diffeence with this show was, they made you believe in friendship, their friendship, the film was crap and Owen Wilson was the worse choice sorry but no Hutch, even Huggy was badly cast.

The only part I liked was the David and Paul cameo, which I don't think they would have done had they been aware of the total spoof the movie made of their show. I remain a David Soul fan since childhood and I totally support all his endeavors.

@kay2735 I wouldn't have gone to see it if it hadn't been a spoof. That's what made it tolerable. No one could have duplicated what the show was. Parts of the movie were mildly funny bc they poked fun at the show. Like I think there was a part where they were running in slo mo on the beach...right into each other's arms! But it wasn't good enough for me to ever watch again. Of course, I loved the cameo.

What exactly is it about these two guys that after 30 years, we are still loving them?? It's more than good looks, after all Miami Vice's Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas"came and went". I feel exactly the same way. Always loved Starsky better until I started watching again a few months ago. Now I'm obsessed with pre-mustache Hutch!!!! How dreamy are those eyes? I really think it has to do with the fact that his character is the most caring and when something happens to Starsky the emotions that Hutch displays are heart wrenching. A Coffin for Starsky is definitely my favorite episode exactly for this reason! Although, Starsky is still nothing to sneeze at...LOL

I was always more partial to Starsky's looks but I was kind of smitten in Season 4 when Hutch grew a mustache and his hair. He was hot that season! I think it was the best he looked the entire run of the show.

I think the reason the show was so popular was the chemistry that that had with one another. I also loved Huggy Bear and Captain Dobey they all work so well together which made the show such a success.
