ive beat 2 srt-4s with my 04 Mitsubishi eclipse spyder gts n all i have is an exhaust system, ive also beat a modified 2g eclipse n it was a 5spd 2gs are nice and if they have the right mods they can be quick....i dont much care for the 1gs..

EVERYONE knows a stock srt4 is faster 0-60, quarter, roll, than a 3rd Gen Eclipse. Everyone who doesnt know this needs to do some research and see for themselves. @scarface1224md no both the guys i raced r really good drivers they race all the time n they were surprised when i beat them cuz even they said they figured there car was faster but even they said the 3g gts will win n 1/8th of a mile and theres is only pushing 230hp n mines pushing 230 so hp is even n the gts has the v6 3.0l 24valves which helps n the srt-4 has the 4cylinder 2.4l 16valve so ya n there both good n fast cars n obviously u haven't ever raced against a 04 eclipse spyder gts

Your car is 230 hp ? and the SRt4 weighs about 300 pounds less...... I really dont see your point. Look up the cars specs man, dont go off of ricer numbers, even if you do the srt4 wins... @flamingaxe791 What does it matter if the Eclipse is turbo or not, that gen Eclipse never came turbo charged, so saying "wow srt4 vs nonturbo eclipse", sounds like youre saying the only competition for an srt4 is a turbo car ? Cars make their power however they were made to, if Dodge decided to make a 230whp Neon using a turbo and Mitsubishi decided to make a 200hp eclipse without a turbo, thats just how they make their power. Thats like saying a Viper vs GTR isnt fair cuz the viper isnt turbo.

Not really a race. Those 3g's say 200-215 at the crank, but at the wheels probably only 170. And that srt-4 isn't stock. I can hear a loud BOV and I know that they don't come with that, plus he probably has a boost controller hooked up. Personally I think the 1g dsm's are the best ever made.
