I don't think that it was a bad movie, I just think that is was so terribly inaccurate historically at least that it makes people think that it was a really bad movie. Before I knew it was based on actual people/events I thought it was a brilliantly wonderful movie (still do to some extent) but once I found out it kinda lost its appeal for a bit. Still think its a good movie, just don't think that its very realible if you want to get anything out of it other than the very basic facts.

CRAP! I accidentally deleted your other comment! But, the BOOK is WONDERFUL. The movie ruined it. 14 years is condensed into 1 and a half. SO MUCH was left out, it was GHASTLY. O.O

That was the first Philippa Gregory book I read. I INHALED it. I've been meaning to read it again. It's AMAZING. If you like that book you should definitely read The Wise Woman. I happened to find that in the airport in London before it was released here in America! :-D So I have the British copy. ^.^

@AeroDeschain Very old post, I know, but I disagree with the uploader. I thought it was a very good film, and I can't stand the Tudors (as in the TV show).

The other Boleyn Girl got very mixed reviews, with some rating it highly and others rating it very low. You should see it and make up your own mind.

Lol, I wouldn't. You'd be better off reading the book this movie was based on. To be honest, this movie turned out to be a huge flop, but it's easier to work with than the Tudors.
