I've never understood all this hype about global warming. "The planet's warming up!" So what? The ice will continue to melt even if we stop burning fossils fuels. Earth naturally goes through glacial and interglacial periods. Right now were in an interglacial period so the ice will continue to melt until the next glacial period starts up. This has happened many times in the past, there was an ice age 20,000 years ago and before that the earth had no ice at the poles. And there were many ice ages before that. Another ice age will eventually occur but before that all the ice is gonna melt.

Greenhouse gas concentration, however, continued to rise. The presence of atmospheric aerosols does not invalidate the greenhouse effect. @WaxItYourself Its caused by earths orbit. Earths orbit goes from being almost completely circular and only slightly elliptical to being completely elliptical.. Right now the earth is in a more circular orbit so were in an interglacial period, so all the ice is going to melt regardless unless we change the earths orbit which we don't have the technology for. The ice will continue to melt until the next glacial period. This has happened many times before.

Besides, Ethanol and Prius's hurt the enviornment. You would be better off buying a car without Hybrid batteries due to the processes that go into making them. Electric/Hydrogen (preferably the latter) are much better alternatives (although Electric is currently suffering the same issues as the hybrids about their manufacturing proccesses.).

The ice will continue to melt even if we stop burning fossils fuels. Earth naturally goes through glacial and interglacial periods. Right now were in an interglacial period so the ice will continue to melt until the next glacial period starts up. This has happened many times in the past, there was an ice age 20,000 years ago and before that the earth had no ice at the poles. And there were many ice ages before that. Another ice age will eventually occur but before that all the ice is gonna melt.

@WaxItYourself Its caused by earths orbit. Earths orbit goes from being almost completely circular and only slightly elliptical to being completely elliptical.. Right now the earth is in a more circular orbit so were in an interglacial period, so all the ice is going to melt regardless unless we change the earths orbit which we don't have the technology for. The ice will continue to melt until the next glacial period. This has happened many times before.

Earth's current eccentricity is roughly 0.0167 while it's axial tilt is approximately 23.44 degrees. (Kutzback 1986) The speed of change far exceeds anything that orbital variations could contribute to.

Basic Chemistry shows O2 & N2 ability to absorb & retain heat is greater than any of the Green House Gases. In fact, N2 &
O2 are green house gases by definition. Nitrogen is the standard gaseous atom at a Thermal Capacity at 1.0, Oxygen is 0.9 and while CO2 is 0.8
In order for CO2 to have a 1.0 degree Celsius impact on Earth's Atmosphere it would require a Thermal Capacity of 500.0 or greater given that CO2 is 387ppm.

i see you have not done ANY research on the ice sheets in the antartic. they are doing the exact opposite of the north. They are EXPANDING. They are not shrinking.

I can see that you don't understand the difference between sea ice and ice shelves. The videos you sent to me privately are all about sea ice. One even proclaims that global warming isn't happening because the Antarctic sea ice increases from summer to winter. (Stop the presses!)
You need to look at the maps to which I already pointed. (Do I need to drag you there by the nose?)

there isn't enough ice to raise the sealevels by 200 feet and most of the polar ice is allready under water,and contains air. volcanoes produce more co2 than humanity has produced in it's entire history. global warming = a stunt.

ok im so sick of hearing about global warming we do not control the weather on a grand scale like that there was natural warming that ended in 1998 since then was steady and now the earths average temperature fell a degree and will continue to fall, it doesn't matter what we do only one volcano has put more crap into out atmosphere then all the cars on this planet has ever done thats a fact, we do not control the weather or hurricanes or anything its all natural

Anyone who believes in the myth of modern global warming is either ignorant, a liar, or both. There is absolutely NO verifiable evidence, LET ALONE PROOF, that global warming is happening. This video shows 20 or 25 years of a computer-generated receding ice cap which arrives at about 85% of its original size. That may make YOU pee yourself, but the ice caps have receded, grown, receded, and grown, over and over for hundreds of thousands of years, it's nothing new. Another ice age will come.

Your proof is a COMPUTER animation from NASA? I would have prefered real pictures.
Besides, Ethanol and Prius's hurt the enviornment. You would be better off buying a car without Hybrid batteries due to the processes that go into making them. Electric/Hydrogen (preferably the latter) are much better alternatives (although Electric is currently suffering the same issues as the hybrids about their manufacturing proccesses.).

Prius creates a lot more pollution than any other car.
