Just because cats are faster, 49ers are way more exciting, you get a real adrenaline buzz from the speed but also balance. 49ers are vastly more difficult to sail, hence why they Are olympic boats. All you have to do on a cat is sit on the wire and go for a ride, no fun in that! Or danger!
