The pilot misjudged the width of the glider wings, making his turn a little soon. Risking to decapitate waiting people, the cameraman included! Film cameras have an optical viewer, showing the reality in real time. Some video cameras however showed in the small ocular monitor, delays, replay of last recorded seconds, and other deviations from real-time events, making filming on the edge sometimes risk full.
