Idk how many times you listened to it but after 3 or 4 times you can here some of the elements that made MBDTF great. Lyrically its 85% percent there. Production its 120% there

the lyrics were deep but this beat is flat out terrible for this song. The beats way too loud so it sounds liike the rappers are fighting to be hear over the beat when really something like this should have a low quieter beat. I wont be able to tell if I like this song until I hear it on a quality system... the mixing sounds odd on my computer, like the beat takes over the lyrics too much.

I think Jay-Z is scared to have a kid. Every song where he is serious he always talks about the "sins of the father". maybe he is scared that if he has a child every wrong thing he has done in his life will come back to haunt his kids. he keeps bringing that shit up in so many songs

@HotPocketsBoy I actually think the reason he hasn't had a kid is b/c beyonce isn't ready. He said in an interview once that he wants a child but he believes that its the woman's choice first & foremost. Beyonce is 12 years younger & has had a shorter career as of now. She's probably the reason they haven't had kids (& there's nothing wrong with that)

@HotPocketsBoy Rightfully so. God visits the sins of the parents/guardians onto the children. A lot of kids today regardless of their religious convictions or lack of can talk about that. Parents not in their life, abusive parents, criminal parents, molesting parents etc.... look at the kids and how they grow up. I'd be scared too.
