  • I like the $10,999 one by far the best. The styling is great and I would never find a house like that for sale here in AZ. The others were not bad either. I noted most were in Detroit...and I am not sure if I would want to live in that kind of neighborhood, it probably is not bad however. Otherwise, looks like great deals to be had if you make sure your reading the fine print.

It does seem like a tempting deal, I just wish there were more locally. I am not one for traveling away either.

  • @clubcar98 Yes that was just an example, however lots of sturdy stone or concrete estates can be acquired for very little, in some cases I've seen in the 3 or 4k range, I wouldn't want downtown Detroit either but outskirts such as say half way between Toledo & Detroit could be distant enough from the gangs yet still very affordable. Maybe just purchase the ghetto joints as rental income.

I even saw once a real castle, for chump change, Phoenix is now in the 30-70k but cash talks now even more

  • @clubcar98 Just don't kick yourself 30 years onward for not acting on a deal lol

  • @clubcar98 MI, OH, parts of Wisconsin, Indiana close to free, South Dakota too & electricity is a sparse .07 cents a Kw! California, Arizona & Florida, also have deals but more cookie cutter suburban type that don't favor the sprawled redneck lifestyle with 2 dozen $75 cars in your yard, even though of elegant Spanish influenced design.

  • @clubcar98 SD has the lowest unemployment of the nation at 2% but that could be attributed to the vast region being mainly unpopulated.

  • Great video! I like the brick ranch home. Those house's may be cheap, but what kind of neighborhood's are they located in. Here in Wisconsin the ghetto's of Milwaukee have cheaper houses compared to where i live. In the ghetto you can find houses under 15k, and where i live the average is about 150K. Maybe slightly under these days. My brothers friends mother sold her house to her former neighbor for 140K, and it was a dump which he knocked down. Real estate gets me thinkn too sometimes.

  • @craig1974 I know what they say "You get what you pay for" & nobody wants to reside in the gutter but for $600?!?!, or even 10k move in. Hell you could fix it up a bit perhaps rent it out or even section 8 it ~ Turn key! In my case since I cleanout junk & sell, I could be set for life (national eBay market) So I'm not too worried about the high unemployment. Detroit you can claim any abandoned car for $40 w/ title in 20 days - lucrative.

  • @craig1974 & flip it for easy scrap Still I'm not too sure if all these estates are all so derelict but missing fixtures had me worried a bit. Anyway worth for me to pioneer this & mine for a bungalow. Since it would be foolish not to buy something for this amount

I have a conspiracy theory which may be wacked out but I was thinking; What if the value went down to worthless due to these being around the New Madrid fault line, you know so property insurance claims don't "break the bank"?...

  • @craig1974 ....Con't because the price range is so ridiculous, I'm really curious about the neighborhood While I don't require a Contemporary setting, I don't want to get shot or robbed either. which is why I was hesitant when these first appeared in late '08 (I remember a 470K, 1996 house, with cathedral ceilings, Stucco walls, Halogen lights, very modern, 2 car garage, 1.1.5 mil+ in California for instance, go for $4700! mid December 08 - crazy) Florida still is about 60k cash.
