@RastaSaiyaman absolutely. Besides only Gabriel and Hackett represent the sound and soul of Genesis. there were deep insightful lyrics to add to their genius and musical talent.
please if there's a DEPECHE MODE's behind the music in this quality out there, if any1 uploads it i will be forever grateful (i know it's uploaded here but in pretty poor quality, which is better than nothing but still).
My dad (who defo wasn't upper class, his father was a doctor and his mother a teacher) was at Charterhouse at about the same time, he'd have been a few years older. Like to think they'd have crossed paths. In a sense it took more guts for these public school boys to throw it all in to pursue the band dream, since they have a lot more to lose, then the working class bands I'd say.
Why does every documentary about fucking great British bands have to been narrated by fucking cheesy, characterless production line Americans riddled with misunderstandings and generalisations...'english gendlemen'..'upper claaaaas' - nope, they were middle class, etc.
Gabriel era, BEST... by far ! Gabriel was the man. Four man era - good. Three man era, Average, Ray Wilson, HUGE mistake. Btw, I still stick needles in Phil Collins' eyes. ; )
i know it couldnt happen but it would be amazing if the classic genesis line up with gabriel, collins, rutherford, banks and hackett would get together one more time in concert it would be huge
Everything is false, that's so gay, they make enormous mistake about album/musicians/date
Bad video, even wikipedia can't be so false xD

There is a lot about this documentary that doesn't add up: Phil didn't play on "Trespass", his first contribution to the band was on "Nursery cryme"
Also the doc makes as if "Trespass" was recorded after Ant Phillips left which is not true, Phillips played on "Trespass."

Very nice revisitation. Thank you. One thing must be said: Phil Collins garbage destroyed the band!

@gossip00 And you forget that Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks WROTE the majority of the pop stuff.

I love how they play Dance on a Volcano before Collins joins, let alone before he becomes singer.
