@robertoproz look, the ps3 hardware and cpu processor is superior there is simply no question about it. even media format - blu ray vs hd dvd... figure it out. the only thing 360 has right now is kinect and thats not gonna be hard to duplicate or even improve on

but on the graphics table 360 has no net upper hand hardware wise. all it means is ps3 still has untapped potential

and no, there is no bias. i'm judging things from an objective standpoint meaning im looking at it technically.

Mac is not both mac and PC for anyone thinking about that... Even when you emulate windows, you'll still get many errors and still you won't be able to run games at the best of their graphics. Sadly, as good as mac is for a SPECIFIC job, that much it sucks on everything else. I want to buy a mac now since I'm writing music and I've heard Mac's going to save me from a lot of trouble... yet for EVERYTHING else, windows is the right choice.

@Razgrits I use Finale for sheet music, Acid or audacity for production and post processing effects, Melodyne to manipulate pitches, FL to create instrumentals all on a pc without a hitch

I have done it all with computers, worked with windows, sun, linux, apple and in my experience the one thing macbooks have the upperhand in is just matlab... and java i guess, which is shitty garbage collecting language. Im more of a c++ guy but all the java fags have macs now, just another reason i hate apple

I don't get why people pick sides, one owns at something and the other owns at another. Like PC is good with gaming and big capacity, but bad in size and virus wise. Apple is good with containing virus but bad with gaming and a lot of programs.

as with anything theres two sides and where there are two sides there will be debates.

For example the on going dispute between Xbox and PS..not starting anything ...i am neutrally opinionated. Like both such as Mac and PC

PC and MAC used them both - i like the smooth running of MACs and i love PCs for thier cheaper price :) and personal customization.

@robertoproz Sometimes there's a clear victor. on an objective spec by spec, feature by feature, potential by potential comparison. PC defeats mac. PS3 defeats XboX 360. 7 defeats vista. XP defeats vista, so I am definitely no microsoft fanboy, just telling it how it is

As for smooth running of macs, with the money spent on a mac, you can make a PC run much more smoothly and actually be able to run high end games and software. It would be a powerhouse at just 2/3 of a mac's price tag

i speak from a totally unbias perspective - many more people will disagree with you on the xbox vs ps3.

Graphically The xbox 360 is superior. quote from a hardware/software specification Pcvsconsole.

Ps3 has more quirks but again The xb360 the most recent one is almost twice as powerful as the ps3. having over 3.6 TFLOPS compared to 1.8 of the ps3

@xxaznjazonxx so basically pc pretty much owns at everything, while mac is like a dressed up eunuch, a castrated one trick pony. with pc you have compatibility - you can run more software. upgradibility - you can always upgrade its components to make it run faster, which also allows you to LEARN how it all works. cheaper - it's way fucking cheaper than a mac pound for pound.

what can you do with a mac? trivial stuff that you can do on a pc. apple has perfected the mundane.
