dude, get pro tools or logic if you have a mac. its quite expensive but its worth it!

also look at rhodes vocal mics. i think you can big one up with a pop shield for like 150 quid or something. look in to it man. also get a usb to jack lead so you can play your guitar stright in or find a good instrument mic like the sm57.

@RadicalRic i like zoom equipment, but i havent done much stuff myself. i think the main things getting a decent mike. all depends on ur budget, but zoom does some rly good video recording equipment which would be perfect and its cheap 2.
