Dude, spiders are insanly fast. Check out the P Murinus escape here on YT to see for your self. Most mygalomorphic spiders, i.e. "huntering spiders" like the Funnel spider don't move, they teleport. That's how fast they are.
Yeah ive heard about that. They can live for up to 48 hours submerged in water. They go into stasis and their hairs catch tiny little air bubbles which they use to breath.
