Lord ,I remember Sis.johnson had a group with my momma and aunt and brother and jus a couple of friends called Dorothy johnson and the new evening stars. Boy they would rehearse in our living room. Wow! After she get finish singing sometime people would be slayed in the spirit on the floor in pews! She was an old school singer fo sho. No one sings like that anymore.

This song is still powerful...Whenever I go to a church back home and they have old school devotional service, I'll break out singing this song...I wouldn't take anything for old school church.

@Orbot nowdays with all the technology thats out today and all the tv shows that are out like american idol and sunday best, the church has gotten away from God, prayer meetings and fasting and are becoming more and more like the world instead of witnessing we're trying to "fit in" and please people. we werent suppose to fit, we were suppose to wiitness and warn. but whatever, everythings "politically correct" nowdays. thank God jesus and his word doesnt change.

@721rem TRUTH!! Church really is nothing like it used to be, even when I was younger and I'm only 36! We're more concerned about numbers in the pews than the QUALITY of thosse numbers in those pews! The church really has sold out..and NOT to God!

I saw them in Washington DC on the Mall. They were performing in a big tent.  Made me want to convert. I still remember one of the songs they sang, "Look what God has done. . . Mastermind is He"
