i remember the looping star rollercoaster,the big wheel(sold to america) the water shute,the zeplins of the the scenic railway youknew you was at some where special.

and that was late 80's early 90's

now the thanet district council think a poxy art centre is the way to go

The Scenic Railway was not as badly damaged as everyone thought. It can be repaired and first steps have already been taken to rebuild it. Dont give up hope guys, Dreamlands world first Heritage park can be open for the 2009 season. Head over to the Save Dreamland website and pledge your support, back them by making donations to the campaign if you can, but most important is to make loud noises in all the right places. WE WANT THIS PARK BACK !! WE WANT THIS PARK SAVED !!

In the old days, there was a house that turned upside down, a water ride through a grotto in tubs, a dark maze (the Sphinx), plastic ducks that you caught with a hook, a miniature bus, the helter-skelter, the smell of toffee apples and candy floss. In fact all the fun of the fair!

Thanet Council should hang their heads in shame!

heres a tell tale sign ok, a little into the bid someones walking through it with their shopping. Now is it me or what. I prefer to go into a theme park and mix with everyone whows the for the same reason! Fucking shit, ya had people walk through like that, people sitting about having a beer not there for nothing to do with the theme parkness or anything. What a waste. That place was so popular and those who remember pay at swing gates 1 entrance, one fee. Will remember just how popular it was.

Prob is once it because walk in n do what ya fucking like, it lost so much money and became full of scrotes and shit heads annoying public not actually in there to enjoy themselves. ?Sadly your very late. Its long gone. Personally i cannot see why the hell they changed it when it became dreamland from Bembom brothers. Pay 10.00 at gate and have a great day, it had loads londoners etc coming down, then it changed to crap walk in pay per ride and half was turned to car park, now what? FUCK ALL. No wonder its a shit hole here now. I walk past it daily and remember the days :)))) lol. was cool.

Close the road along the front. Pedestrianise everything from the clock tower to the Arlington arcade.

Run the road along the back of Dreamland through and round the site, revitalising not only Arlington house and surrounds where the road would join up with the main road by the station but also the giant unused space at the back.

Get rid of the old rusty railway (sorry). Grass and flowerbeds everywhere. (Cheap).

Yeah we all read the what to do plans written up mate but whats ya comment about other than ideas already states in the book?.. lol.. Get rid of the rusty old train :). I cease to take anything you have to say serious now. You obviously miss the point of whats being said here. Your ideas good, lol flowers cheap.. running road round back, Not so. After all it was chucked away as an idea after just 18 days. Put it back exactly how it was 20 years ago when i was there as a lad. Sorted !!!!!!!!!!.
