  • lol if it makes you feel any better jill in the last 14 months I've had 5 mac minis die on me (all motherboard/transformer interface faults) and three applemac pro's either otherheat and fry or a graphics card just cook, or my personal fav a battery that wanted to just catch fire for a living, apples responcce sorry for your trouble here have £25 itunes card!!!! no thanks. still if my shiny new mac book air fails at least I can use it to cut cake. apple 101 uses none of them for computing lol x

  • heh. I got my new computer 2 months ago. Way early Christmas :D :D :D. Its an Emachine Gaming computer. I play online games like MUOnline and GUNZ. Its got a big hardrive i think. Its cool you have a new computer. Have a Merry Christmas!

  • just for you!! when you accept the $100 you are ,letting them off the hook, if anyone out there has trouble with companys, you do not accept the small token payment,if you have a real case,thats when you find a lawyer, as(not always)that token payment is a admission of guilt/fault on the companys part,but YOU will need a lawyer to take the matter froward or the company will eat you alive

  • Wow...I have never had a problem at Micro Center. Sure they took a couple of weeks to fix my machine, but I know that I'm not the only customer that shops there. These guys are one of the few retail stores left who give a crap about customer service. See if you can go into a Best Buy, Circuit City, or Fry's and get any of their sales staff to care even a little about your situation. I doubt they would done much of anything (plus Best Buy's 'Geek Squad' is a joke). -Loyal MicroCenter customer

  • Your new computer has imovie ihope? I miss your good vids! I have been missing my bucket truck for 4 weeks. It went in for a hydraulic system re plumb and safety inspection,AKA hosejob. After several complications and delays I know how you feel, Im tired of climbing every tree that needs trimmed, or removed. :)xo

  • I'm surprised to hear all these videos about Apple's service sucking. I've always had great service, and any problems I've had have been fixed at the Apple Store "Genius Bar" while I waited. But then, maybe the Silicon Valley stores are a bit more on the ball, being so close to the Cupertino home base.

  • Not all problems can be fixed at the so called "Genius Bar". The local Apple stores here dump their tough problems on the company I work for,which isnt even a apple service center.

  • i ordered my PC from Dell. Took them 5 week to deliver a broken computer, another week to send a guy over who couldnt find the mistake, so he had to take the computer with him. Another 2 weeks later, a call from Dell, they couldnt find the mistake so they´re going to send me a new one. 3 weeks later, still no new computer, They said i´ll get it monday, so all my hope lies on tomorrow.

    Btw, they wanted to charge me with 150 euros for the pick up service, but they took it back^^.

  • For all the stress they caused you, I would start with a one hour massage (the "G" rated variety. Remember you're trying to relieve stress, lol). That's about $60. Don't know what a pedicure costs but I don't know a woman who doesn't like one of those.

    Since you receive zero attention from MicroCenter, I'm just trying to think of things where someone gives you 100% attention. Hope this helps :)

  • I love my I mac!!! It's already had it's mother board replaced within the first six months of ownership. It still has problems. My favorite thing is when you walk into the room the screen droops every time. When it works it marvelous! When it works!
