@kanneebannee - When you boil a chicken in water, most of the time with vegetables, what is left after you remove the chicken and vegetables and strain the liquid, it is the stock. We can actually purchase stock or broth here in cans that is already made. You can also make it with bouillon cubes in hot water. Hope this helps.
This just came up in my newsfeed and it was perfect timing. My son called last night and asked if I had a good recipe for chicken noodle soup. I'm going to share this with him.
Wow, thanks Lynn! I was searching for an easy chicken soup recipe to try tonight and I love that yours is so quick and easy. Im excited to try it! Thanks for making this video :)
That was a thick dish of nothing but goodness, taste, devotion, and of course... flavor!! :D
Thank so you much, Lynn. Quick question: Is it supposed to be thick like that? Or can I add a tad bit extra water (perhaps 3/4 cup) to thin it a bit? Also, what kinda pasta can I add instead of those thin spaghetti? I don't like spaghetti, so what pasta substitute could I possibly use?
Loved it, will try for sure once I hear back form you. Loads-a-love!
@Desi4evah - Thank you. I am so glad that you are going to try the soup. You can add as much water as you want to thin it out. You could also add more chicken broth for flavor. The noodles that I used were not spaghetti, but really thin egg noodles. You could use any pasta that you want, doesn't matter. Thicker egg noodles would be great, but just use whatever is your favorite pasta. As far as the thickness, that is also just personal preference. Let me know how it turns out!
why do you say 6 cups of chicken stock when the packet tittle says chicken broth ? can you replace for the other ? I am really new to cooking so I dont know unfortunately :(
@jabhatta - I am sorry for the confusion. Sometimes the boxes will say stock and sometimes broth. Most likely they will say broth. Stock is usually a little richer in taste, but they both work. Sometimes they are spoken about interchangeably and can be substituted for each other, but as I said, the stock will usually be a richer flavor.
I meant loved it. Sorry!

@Liedragon - You can add less noodles, if you prefer, and it would be fine.
