CHris Thile is to mandolin as mozaet is too classical music.....................sara watkins is in my opinion the best violinist/fiddle player in know...........her brother is better than anyone i ever heard ......i mean i guess they have to be cause chris is so amazing on the mandolin so ther player must equally be just as AWESOME ................i would love just her have 4 hours with them i could learn more in 4 hours with that group then i have all my life

This group has been together since they were 12 I think....there mandolin player won the Walnut Valley Mandolin Flatpick Championship at 12 he is truly amazing!

@duinnerfs I have three of their albums. The first is still my favorite. I just looked on Amazon and it looks like they have a greatest hits called "Reasons Why (the very best)". I have to get it! The mandolin player is Chris Thile and he is in a band now called "The Punch Brothers".

well it depends on which long solo you mean. the first (and opening) solo is the Banjo. the second is the Mandolin!
