Whoa!! However I think the Thundercat's Tigra's drug problem was better. Interseting how the characters closer to the main character have issues. You never see the villians having these problems.
Man, I remember this so clearly. Although one wonders what the writers thought the age range for this cartoon was. I watched Jem when I was about 6. Did I really require a lesson on the dangers of hallucinogenics? Fond memory though.
@spoonflipper I have a similar memory of this from when I was about 5-6. As far as I remember, Jem was a little girls show which I watched (shamefully, as i was a boy) while waiting for He-man and Ninja Turtles to start. I think the rest of the episode was something to do with Laura getting involved with the wrong crowd.
i love this episode especially watching it after ive done some indoor skiing!

On Captain Planet, the drug addicts turned into Zombies...
but thats ok, because Wheeler lampshaded it.

this is quite disturbing, but there should be more cartoons out like this.

I did that in real life, I wasn't on drugs, I just wanted to commit suicide.

This episode was a fine example about what drugs can do to people, especially a girl like Laura.
