Many people argue that tatoos are a form of art and expression. I agree...for the artist. Not person is just branding themselves, similar to a cow, or a shoe. The body is art in and of itself. Anyone who would work their hardest to promote a good looking healthy body would not taint it with such a trivial item.
Just think about the placement of your tattoo carefully. I have one on my hip. It is great because I can see it when I am wearing a bathing suit and no one else really knows it is there. Also don't get it somewhere that will stretch. Last thing you want is your bull looking like an elephant! :) Even though I have a tattoo and like it reflecting back I am not sure I would get it again. That is my two cents.
I would not get it in Spain... You need to research the Bull fighting industry.... it is a horrible industry of torture and death... for the bulls. It is not a sport....once you see bullfighting for what it is you would not want to think the you are connected to it in any way. Get Kat Von D to do the tattoo for you in LA and document it. Then the bull WILL represent what you want it to.

A LOT of fifty year old guys are going to be regretting the whole 'barbed wire on the bicep'. You look like you have nice, clear skin, so a tattoo should take well. But, with skin like that you don't really need adornment. Your body and your hard work is adornment enough, if you ask me.
How about you get a bull in a frame in your room to remind yourself? It will just ruin your image and will look horrible. You will also get sick of it. Think about it... its like clothes, if you wore the same clothes everyday, you wouldn't think it was cute anymore and would get bored of it..

Don't do it, Zuzana! There's no place where a running bull would look good on your body! Just get a necklace or bracelet with a running bull instead. Maybe get sweatpants with a bull going down the side. There are trashier tattoos you can get in better places.

Though i can agree with those who dont want you to get the tattoo...Because you have gone on this long without one, it would be best to avoid it. Having tattoos myself, it does get addictive and after the first one you really do wanna fill up the canvas hat is your skin.

I totally think the tattoo is an awesome idea... and the forearm is a great spot, the shoulder can look a little manly (my opinion), with the forearm, it has great symbolism.. and you can keep it gilrie.
you should go to a shop ahead of time and meet with an artist and see thier portfolio to see how expirienced they are... that gives you the chance to see how your chemistry/vibe with them is like.

ok, here it is. You have the right to put anything you want on your body. A symbol of hard work. A symbol of something that is close to your heart. I can tell you that I felt the same way you do now about 19 years ago, and truthfully I look at myself in the mirror and I wished I never did it. I am 38 years old 6"1" in very good shape. My friends tell me all the time that I could pass for 28. So it's not that I don't like the way it looks. I just think totally different now. Hope this helps
I like that the tattoo you want to get has personal significance for you and that you're thinking about it well in advance. One question though: Isn't the correlation between the bull and Spain about the bullfight, where the matador ultimately kills the bull with a sword and then the bull is dragged across and away from the arena by two horses? You might want to try India -- cows and bulls have been respected for centuries there and those who have them on their farms regard them as family.

Tattoo sounds great, but having a single tattoo on the forearm is more like a sailor type thing. I think a design that wraps around the entire forearm would suit you better.

I don't know if you read these Zuzana but I highly suggest you do not get the tattoo. Very bad Idea. The symbolism is wonderful though. Maybe you should get a tiny silver necklace MADE in spain to wear instead of a tattoo. Maybe something like that with your gemstone at the heart of the bull ? Personally, I don't think you should get a tattoo. The idea of the bull is meaningful, but remember, tattoos are forever. As long as you know of your strength deep down, then you don't need a physical reminder. It'd be a shame if you tainted your body with ink.
I definitely think you should get the tattoo if it's what you feel! I'm a Taurus too, so I am right on board with the bull idea. I have a friend who has tattoos he uses as reminders of things that are important to him, and they mean a lot to him and are very powerful.

I always wanted a lion tattooed on my back, partly because I'm a Leo and partly because they're gorgeous, strong, lean animals. Just look for natural mineral inks, you can buy them online and they don't have weird ingredients and chemicals in them. Your tattoo artist can use them instead of the usual ink.
Get a tattoo, but why in Spain where they drug bulls and stab them with swords. If you want Toro to be your strength of will don't have it done in Spain.

If you're going to get a tattoo, I would suggest getting a small one on your ankle! Ankle tattoos don't hurt too bad, and you can always cover it up if you're dressing up or going to a formal event. I wouldn't suggest getting it someplace where it just jumps out at you.
If you need a tattoo to remind yourself of your strong will, then you do not possess strong will to begin with. Don't make excuses, you want a tattoo because it "looks cool". If that's the case, and you really want it, go for it. But just don't be disingenuous about it.
Try a temporary tattoo for about 6 months. You will find that it does not do what you think it will do, and you will no longer want one. Tattoos are not attractive.

Though i can agree with those who dont want you to get the tattoo...Because you have gone on this long without one, it would be best to avoid it. Having tattoos myself, it does get addictive and after the first one you really do wanna fill up the canvas hat is your skin.
On the other note, your reasons are good and my ink serves the same motivating purpose like yours. Talk to ur friends where the got there ink and go thru there person. Most artists are very friendly. Good Luck

I totally think the tattoo is an awesome idea... and the forearm is a great spot, the shoulder can look a little manly (my opinion), with the forearm, it has great symbolism.. and you can keep it gilrie.
you should go to a shop ahead of time and meet with an artist and see thier portfolio to see how expirienced they are... that gives you the chance to see how your chemistry/vibe with them is like.
I personally don't think the tattoo would be trashy, if it gets done right..... i'm a fan.

It's a big decision and you wouldn't want to end up regretting it. It's a puncture wound made deep into your skin. If the artist presses too hard, it will cause intense pain and bleeding. If too soft, you will be left with a raggy tattoo. You have a perfect body, it's not worth it!

ok, here it is. You have the right to put anything you want on your body. A symbol of hard work. A symbol of something that is close to your heart. I can tell you that I felt the same way you do now about 19 years ago, and truthfully I look at myself in the mirror and I wished I never did it. I am 38 years old 6"1" in very good shape. My friends tell me all the time that I could pass for 28. So it's not that I don't like the way it looks. I just think totally different now. Hope this helps

I like that the tattoo you want to get has personal significance for you and that you're thinking about it well in advance. One question though: Isn't the correlation between the bull and Spain about the bullfight, where the matador ultimately kills the bull with a sword and then the bull is dragged across and away from the arena by two horses? You might want to try India -- cows and bulls have been respected for centuries there and those who have them on their farms regard them as family.

Tattoo sounds great, but having a single tattoo on the forearm is more like a sailor type thing. I think a design that wraps around the entire forearm would suit you better.
Maybe you should reconsider the Spain aspect. In Spain, bulls are killed in the bullfights.

IF you get a tattoo..get something that means something to you that is a non-changing part of your life (the bull sounds perfect) and get a small one and put it somewhere that no one but you is going to see it. Clearly a tattoo does not make a person trashy its how that person portrays him or herself. If you get something with alot of meaning such as the bull its one of those things that is for you not for style or fads its for you. Doing it like this i think does not make it trashy at all. I don't know if you read these Zuzana but I highly suggest you do not get the tattoo. Very bad Idea. The symbolism is wonderful though. Maybe you should get a tiny silver necklace MADE in spain to wear instead of a tattoo. Maybe something like that with your gemstone at the heart of the bull ? That way you're not marking up your lovely arm and you can still have it forever and look it at it. I hope you take my advice hun, I sure have been taking yours.

Personally, I don't think you should get a tattoo. The idea of the bull is meaningful, but remember, tattoos are forever. As long as you know of your strength deep down, then you don't need a physical reminder. It'd be a shame if you tainted your body with ink.

I definitely think you should get the tattoo if it's what you feel! I'm a Taurus too, so I am right on board with the bull idea. I have a friend who has tattoos he uses as reminders of things that are important to him, and they mean a lot to him and are very powerful.
If you do get a tattoo, you should vlog the experience! I've wanted one for years but I'm very chicken. I think I'm finally getting to the point where it's less scary, though, maybe watching your experience would help. :)

And tattoos are beautiful when done right, I think your bull/Taurus idea is awesome. I always wanted a lion tattooed on my back, partly because I'm a Leo and partly because they're gorgeous, strong, lean animals. Just look for natural mineral inks, you can buy them online and they don't have weird ingredients and chemicals in them. Your tattoo artist can use them instead of the usual ink.

If you're going to get a tattoo, I would suggest getting a small one on your ankle! Ankle tattoos don't hurt too bad, and you can always cover it up if you're dressing up or going to a formal event. I wouldn't suggest getting it someplace where it just jumps out at you.
