@tucoakatherat Thank you for the compliment. When you get the chance look into the 3rd Fallschirmjäger Division, it's involvement in the Ardennes Offensive and the Hurtgen Forest. Hope that helps with some clarification in regards to this diorama. Thanks again, Beetstreet
Hello, I would love to conratulate you for your awesome artwork and dioramas! I too collect Forces of Valor models, in 1:32 scale and 21st Century Toys, I am a big fan and I myself am planning to make a diorama with my models and I thank you for giving me your Ideas and references! THANK YOU!
dude this is so cool. i built one but it was my first and didnt really have a battle behind it i was wondering are these 1/35 because thats what i used. yours is incredible. id rate yours 5 out of 5 and mine about 3 out of 5
@lActrXvids The brand is Forces of Valor and they do have rolling suspensions. My newest kick is to redo them (photo etch detailing, scratch building parts and air brushing them).
Wow love your work Beetstreet4! The tooth pick really works as I finished another diorama. As always you are my Mentor. This is my next video of a diorama i did in case you want to see it. The horrid fight over bloody line within Sharpsburg Maryland Thank you so much for such wonderful artwork.
@usnc1000 Just go to my Eastern Front Diorama, that has how it was made and I make all my dioramas in the same method. Thanks for you interest, Beetstreet
@fishingtrashcan I have a friend that paints them. He sells on EBay for between $15 - $25 per figure!!! Check EBay there is usually some for sale (try this search: built 1 35). An expensive hobby - lol. Beetstreet
I want to inform you that as of the 16th of November 2010 a new documentary has been released with original combat footage from the 1st US Signal Corps about this subject (battle in the huertgen forest, battle of the bulge). The DVD can be ordered by the konejung foundation on their website (just google "konejung stiftung". It's in German and English and contains 4 hrs of never before seen footage from american archives...
@realtruemorons Sorry after spending hundreds of dollars on pre-made trees and figuring out how they were made and hours working on my own - that is one area that I do not share. Sorry, Beetstreet
@scoodlers Yes, the Jagdpanther was, in my opinion, the best panzerjager of the war on all sides. I have recently finished a July 1944 production Forces Of Valor Jagdapnther and converted it to an October 1944 production run Jagdpanther, as used in the Ardennes Offensive (removed all zimmerit, relocated all tools and repainted it).
buddy,i have like 2000 dollars invested in dioramas id upload some videos of them but i dont have any high quality camera,by the way, those are combined ss,fallschirmjager and wehrmacht isnt them?masterbox, tamiya wehr solders and dragon fallschirmjager mortar team i think
I've watched alot of your videos on these. Just wanted to say, great job putting all the time, detail effort, and cash into this hobby. Keep it up pal..
Yes they are. I prefer diecast vehicles over plastic. I have had negative comments that using already painted vehicles is cheating in making dioramas. If I could make my owe diecast I would. Maybe I will win the lottery and buy a factory! lol. Beetstreet
Was die Herstellung anbetrifft des Dioramas, verweisen Sie bitte die Anmerkung unten. 1/32. oder 1/35. Skalabekehrte bis 54mm. Hoffen Sie dass Hilfen, Beetstreet
Hi, yes I made the landscape from scratch. See Eastern Front Diorama - Forces Of Valor video for how I did it. The trees I also made but prefer not to give up the secret how I make them for now. Beetstreet
Beetstreet
no im talking to ColonelTeabag..... nice dioramas btw, how did you create the trench in the other video? was it tongue depressors? and what was your base for the trenches?
Nice Diorama. Leading with tanks in tight ground like forests is suicide. Infantry leading with tanks in support is the best. Like the video though. Good music.
Note:
Don't park the tanks on a marsh. I had a teacher whose crew did that at Normandy. When they woke up in the morning the tank had sunk into the marsh. The whole crew had to pay for the lost tank.
To all, maybe you know about Steve but if you don't, search in You Tube for steve the kamloopian. He is great and has great advice. He also runs a website. I highly recommend you visit both! Beetstreet

Please forgive me if I don't tell you how I make my trees and foilage. I have spent hundreds of dollars on EBay trees and model railroad trees from various manufacturers and hours spent understanding how they build them and reproducing them at a fraction of the price. Eventually, if I get really good, I might start making them and selling them - retirement plan - lol! Sorry but thank you taking the time to look, Beetstreet.
Beet. Thanks for the upload, and all your hard work. I thoroughly enjoyed this vid. Nice lighting and camera angles in quite a few scenes..some for instance like at3:52 almost look real!. The home-made foliage really worked out well and gave it a really thick, organic look. And what a big hurtin@1:19.
Thank you taintedhistory2 for not only just watching it but taking the time to really watch it! The lighting was difficult because of the amount of trees (13). I used a combination of flourescent and halogen. The halogen at times was so bright it made it seem that the sun was in the "forest" - lol. I spent an hour and a half and took over 150 shots. After deleting the poor shots, all that was left was the ones I posted. Thanks Again, Beetstreet
