  • Great diorama but there weren't falshrmjagers in the Hurtgen Forest

  • @tucoakatherat Thank you for the compliment. When you get the chance look into the 3rd Fallschirmjäger Division, it's involvement in the Ardennes Offensive and the Hurtgen Forest. Hope that helps with some clarification in regards to this diorama. Thanks again, Beetstreet

  • the trees look really good

  • Hello, I would love to conratulate you for your awesome artwork and dioramas! I too collect Forces of Valor models, in 1:32 scale and 21st Century Toys, I am a big fan and I myself am planning to make a diorama with my models and I thank you for giving me your Ideas and references! THANK YOU!

  • how big is the bored you made it on

  • Well done gives you the feel for it...

  • Totally Awesome vid and Diorama, better than I could ever make.

  • I feel like playing company of heroes now....

  • Holy cow!!

This makes Arnhem look like a picnic!

  • no above picyure that sucks

  • Is that good BC bud you're using for bushes?

  • is that airfix because i plan on get a sherman for my collection since it was by birthday on wednsday

  • So much detail! Only a month to make? Wow, good job! Going to check out the Ost Front next!

  • dude this is so cool. i built one but it was my first and didnt really have a battle behind it i was wondering are these 1/35 because thats what i used. yours is incredible. id rate yours 5 out of 5 and mine about 3 out of 5

  • what colors did you use for the camo? im getting bored of the color German Uniform. i need a little change.

  • you have make the Diorama pictures in a good pic....good work!!

  • How long did it take you to make, becuase its the best diorama ive ever seen!

  • @timross86 The diorama took about a month to make, if I remember correctly. Thank you

  • @timross86 check out "Retreat to Elbe | Diorama of the Day" its a fantastic diorama.

  • hey what brands are the tanks and do they have rolling suspensions, it would really help!!

  • @lActrXvids The brand is Forces of Valor and they do have rolling suspensions. My newest kick is to redo them (photo etch detailing, scratch building parts and air brushing them).

  • The moive didn't load and had to make another video web site with the youtube.com/watch?v=s-FFYJi5xV0

  • Wow love your work Beetstreet4! The tooth pick really works as I finished another diorama. As always you are my Mentor. This is my next video of a diorama i did in case you want to see it. The horrid fight over bloody line within Sharpsburg Maryland Thank you so much for such wonderful artwork.

  • wish i had though toys lol

  • pause at 3:32, it looks real!

  • Scary shit

  • I LOVE JAGDPANTHERS

  • @scoodlers than married one ;-p

  • i was wondering how did you make the diorama

  • @usnc1000 Just go to my Eastern Front Diorama, that has how it was made and I make all my dioramas in the same method. Thanks for you interest, Beetstreet

  • Hey,can you please tell me where you got these figures, and do you know how much you paid for them?

  • @fishingtrashcan I have a friend that paints them. He sells on EBay for between $15 - $25 per figure!!! Check EBay there is usually some for sale (try this search: built 1 35). An expensive hobby - lol. Beetstreet

  • is that hitler speaking?

  • @MegaClone11 no it was a dog barking !!

  • @MegaClone11 Yes it is a speech at one of the Nuremburg rallies prior to WWII if I remember.

  • Pro job with the model making there fit for any decent museum

  • how did you make the trees?

  • @realtruemorons Sorry after spending hundreds of dollars on pre-made trees and figuring out how they were made and hours working on my own - that is one area that I do not share. Sorry, Beetstreet

  • Excellent work, well done! Such attention to detail, do you do any aircraft?

  • @RCAF413SQN No I don't do aircraft. In fact the thing I enjoy most is the landscapes, to be completely honest. Thanks for the compliment, Beetstreet

  • you put alot of work into these. How long did it take you to make this diarama?

  • @lovefishin101 Many months!!!

  • Pretty cool. I'm planning on doing a Iwo Jima Diorama. This looks awesome. Great work.

  • the music is from star wars...cool! lol

  • F. you and that paper hanging son of a bitch.. I hope he's enjoy hell

  • @brad04970 What on earth are you talking about???

  • @beetstreet4 ...I expect he is referring to Hitler's early 'career 'as a house 'decorator'

  • What a great display! Superb detail on the models! I wish I had your resources.

  • best diorama I've ever seen. The roads are unbelievable, Arguably, the best single item in the dio.! (my opinion)

  • the forgotten battle of ww2 more Americans died there then during the battle of the bulge. rest in peace all of you heroes of freedom

  • Too much german vehicles and too closing distance for beeing a trap. But you did an excellent job in molding the hedgehood and the forest.

  • Enjoyed video..nice models.

    best regards

    Pete.

  • 3 time I see your vidio and it is stage genialo

  • do you like the jagdpanther?

  • @scoodlers Yes, the Jagdpanther was, in my opinion, the best panzerjager of the war on all sides. I have recently finished a July 1944 production Forces Of Valor Jagdapnther and converted it to an October 1944 production run Jagdpanther, as used in the Ardennes Offensive (removed all zimmerit, relocated all tools and repainted it).

  • really well done..Great Job!!!

  • i want that where do u buyed that?!?!?!

  • thats better

  • great diorama. im thinking about making a ww1 one.

  • buddy,i have like 2000 dollars invested in dioramas id upload some videos of them but i dont have any high quality camera,by the way, those are combined ss,fallschirmjager and wehrmacht isnt them?masterbox, tamiya wehr solders and dragon fallschirmjager mortar team i think

  • OMG!?!?

  • Excellent detail. Especially the Jerries!!

  • I've watched alot of your videos on these. Just wanted to say, great job putting all the time, detail effort, and cash into this hobby. Keep it up pal..

  • Look at all them Nazis

  • like your video i am14 yers old!

  • The The Hurtgen Forest shoud be more know it was a great battle or better a serie of battles

  • hey german catch up on english

  • I would appreciate if you did not use my pages for insults. Maybe we should catch up on our German. I for one would be better for it. Beetstreet

  • It was like being on the Kall trail. Excellent modelling!

  • this is a forces of valor?

  • Yes they are. I prefer diecast vehicles over plastic. I have had negative comments that using already painted vehicles is cheating in making dioramas. If I could make my owe diecast I would. Maybe I will win the lottery and buy a factory! lol. Beetstreet

  • Von welcher seite bekommst du deine figuren?

  • Hi beetstreet4 i have another question from welcher site you become unimax?

  • too many good men died there

  • Wie heißt die seite wo du die unimax figuren herbekommst?

Ich will irgendwan mal so gut werden wie du.

  • wie hast du die erde und den wald gemacht?wie groß sind die figuren 1:32 in cm?

  • As for the making of the diorama, please refer the comment below. 1/32nd or 1/35th scale converts to 54mm. Hope that helps, Beetstreet

  • Hi, yes I made the landscape from scratch. See Eastern Front Diorama - Forces Of Valor video for how I did it. The trees I also made but prefer not to give up the secret how I make them for now. Beetstreet

Beetstreet

  • Good Use of Forces of Valor ;D

  • very nice, how do you make the forest?

  • if i were you, i would catch up on my grammer skills.

  • It what way?

  • no im talking to ColonelTeabag..... nice dioramas btw, how did you create the trench in the other video? was it tongue depressors? and what was your base for the trenches?

  • You need to catch up on your Grammar skills too, Mr. "Grammer"

  • The Aemericans are fucked

  • i'm selling 1/32 dioramas if u interested

  • Thanks for the offer but I think I might try building them myself - lol :) Beetstreet

  • Nice Diorama. Leading with tanks in tight ground like forests is suicide. Infantry leading with tanks in support is the best. Like the video though. Good music.

    Note:

Don't park the tanks on a marsh. I had a teacher whose crew did that at Normandy. When they woke up in the morning the tank had sunk into the marsh. The whole crew had to pay for the lost tank.

  • tamiya?

  • Yes, some of the figures are produced by Tamiya. The vehicles are Unimax Forces Of Valor.

  • To all, maybe you know about Steve but if you don't, search in You Tube for steve the kamloopian. He is great and has great advice. He also runs a website. I highly recommend you visit both! Beetstreet

  • 1:26

    i love that shot

  • amazing!!!!!!

  • on 3:23 where did you get the luggage on the tank from

  • Some I made and some come with almost every Forces Of Valor tank you buy. Beetstreet

  • where did you get those little men?

  • If you watch the credits, it will tell you the dealers in North America I highly recommend. I always ask that you support your local model store though. Hope that helps, Beetstreet

  • good cameraman.

  • Yo, really cool work! :D How do u make the trees, and other foilege?

  • Please forgive me if I don't tell you how I make my trees and foilage. I have spent hundreds of dollars on EBay trees and model railroad trees from various manufacturers and hours spent understanding how they build them and reproducing them at a fraction of the price. Eventually, if I get really good, I might start making them and selling them - retirement plan - lol! Sorry but thank you taking the time to look, Beetstreet.

  • Thx!

  • Andrew,

What an outstanding diorama and sound effects. I can see a lot work, dedication and talented work out into it.

It is my pleasure to see my work put into memorable WWII day.

    Congratulations

  • Beet. Thanks for the upload, and all your hard work. I thoroughly enjoyed this vid. Nice lighting and camera angles in quite a few scenes..some for instance like at3:52 almost look real!. The home-made foliage really worked out well and gave it a really thick, organic look. And what a big hurtin@1:19.

  • Thank you taintedhistory2 for not only just watching it but taking the time to really watch it! The lighting was difficult because of the amount of trees (13). I used a combination of flourescent and halogen. The halogen at times was so bright it made it seem that the sun was in the "forest" - lol. I spent an hour and a half and took over 150 shots. After deleting the poor shots, all that was left was the ones I posted. Thanks Again, Beetstreet
