  • you have the liqui fire and crunch lab or the original handbuckers?

  • Comment removed

  • Damn. Sick playing. You sure pick hard, but that's not a bad thing!

  • for that price would you rather buy any other guitar? I have to decide between this or a PRS se custom 24 25th anniversary edition...

  • Here we have a perfect guitar player!

  • Jesus man, you smack the shit out of those strings!

    Nice playing lol.

  • Good fluid playing sir..I'm wondering getting this..

  • I've wanted one of these for ages, woke up this morning and wow... my wife got me one for Christmas! The black JP50. Man, it's fantastic. Played it heaps at the local music shop, went there the other day and it was gone :( Someone had bought it... my wife, as it turns out!

  • I can't find the SBK anywhere... did they stop making it???

  • Not *that* Bluesy, I should tell u the scales u were running up & down, that kinda can only be classified as "Neo Classical". There's nothing wrong w/ that, thats what I play & my dad is a big blues guy & he tells me a lot that he wishes he learned all the right scales like I did growing up...cuz now I'm a month away from my 25th birthday & I've played since age 2...not to say that I'm some fucking superstar or anything, I've thought I should be 10x better then I am for like the last 8 years.

  • The sound of the strings is louder than the amp...!!!

  • @FreeByrd007 16" radius

  • where this guitar is made from ?

  • @aris17561 Made in Indonesia

  • what do you think of the bridge and the locking tuners? is it possible to do dive-bombs without getting out of tune?

  • @trakir I find that I can do standard trem stuff and it stays in tune well. Shimmer, vibrato etc works great. If I go crazy it will slip tuning a bit.

  • very cool performing... do you think the LIQUID FIRE is better than an AIR NORTON for shredding in Neck??

I think about puttingone of them in my 7 string neck......

  • @njected I haven't had much experience with the Air Norton. I really like the Liquid Fire. It is very even sounding and feeling. Great pickup for solo work.

  • what kind of distortion you use? :)

  • @ikza47 I use a Tone Freak Abunai@ as a booster. Most of the gain is from the amp.

  • i can only think of Steve Morse when i hear you play, Nice playing!

  • @tomguitarr thanks! thats is a wonderful compliment. I love Steve Morse!!

  • @patpark No problem, its very clean playing with a nice country vibe, true steve morse style

  • does this guitar have a floating trem? (is it gonna be a pain to change tunings?)

  • @lilcheap2 it does but i can chang easy its not like a floyed it will take like to time to tune it to make it stay in tune but its easy,

  • thanks

  • @lilcheap2 np just make sure u try any thing u buy before hand kk

  • @lilcheap2 it is a floating trem bridge, so if you change tunings - you'll have to adjust the springs to make the bridge level.

  • is your Liquifire and Crunchlab F spaced? thank you in advance for the Reply. Rock on Dude

  • @acecepeda bridge pickup is F spaced and neck pickup is standard spaced

  • oh great, i ordered the set, Liquifire and Crunchlab F spaced. Does it mean that the set contains an F spaced Crunchlab and a regular spaced Liquifire?

  • not sure when i ordered from Dimarzio I told them I wanted F space for bridge and regular for neck. Chances are this is what you will get. The strings spacing gets more narrow as it gets closer to the neck so it makes sense that the set would have f space bridge etc.

  • awesome vid dude, i take it they arent the origonal pick-ups? if not how did you find the origonals? worth replacing or are they ok?

  • @psychospirit the stock pickups sound good. I was very interested in trying the new Petrucci pickups so i went for it and ma very happy. I would have been happy with the stock ones.

  • hi! the bridge is floating? the same that a floyd rose? or a simple tremolo vibrato? thx

  • @ronaldjoseperezsanch it is a tremolo from musicman with locking tuners, hope it helped! :)

  • I gotta get those pickups in my Ibanez RG.

  • freaking great playing!

  • great playing? he does the fuckin same all over the fucking video! come on! hi just "practice" that!

  • hey dude... shut the fuck up. mmkay? theres no room for that kind of hostility here. doesnt mean its any less than great playing. you can uh, just go rape your mother like you do every night. kk? thanks. :) this guy plays great give him some credit.

  • crap I order the F spaced Neck Pick up -_-

  • F space refers to Fender spacing, fender;s have a wider spacing at the tremolo bridge. the strings get more narrow as they reach the neck. You need wider spacing near the bridge and less wider spacing as you travel towards the neck.

  • the F space means Floyd spacing, refering to the floyd rose tremelo. because the strings are a spaced out a little more than on other bridges.

  • he is right F space is for fender it just so happens floyd starts with an F also it started when people started putting humbuckers into fenders they needed wider spacing so that it lined up with the strings at the bridge.

  • Hey mate your playing is uber great! Thanks for posting this up.

I also order the Jp50 too and I''m changing the pick ups, I wanted to did you get the F spaced Liquifire or the regular spaced? And which one should I get???

  • the bridge pickup is F spaced, the neck pickup is standard spacing

  • it looks like a really cool guitar! too bad i couldn't get one for under 990 CAD...

btw great playing too, i really loved the lick at 0:43

  • Thanks Man. appreciate it.

  • How does it hold the tuning?

It kind of loocks just like the discontinued OLP JPM with a nicer color :P but do those locking tuners realy work or does one need to replace them?

  • @odlsej

the locking tuners work great. This guitar stays in tune very well, even during aggressive tremolo use. I would see no reason to replace them. The quality of the tuners is as good as more expensive tuners.

    Thanks,

    Pat

  • Y , thank you :) both for the video and for the reply...I'm geting one of those..

  • very good playing ... i was wondering what are the differences in the sound from the stock pickups compared to the crunch lab and the liquifire

  • Hi

Main differences were in clarity and sustain. The neck pickup especially really improved.

    Thanks

  • do you think it sounds more like Petrucci's guitar with the new pickups?
