  • Love the Video. You obviously love your Hacker's. Margaret and Jim

  • @dymondogs I think I'd be Great on the BBC...haha!!!

You wait till yours is on here in all it's glory...haha!!!

    Thanks for commenting!!! :)

  • A great improvement and that wonderful Hacker sound is shining through! Keep on playing the Mrs Mills tracks!

Can't wait to see the finished result.

There's no superfluous waffling in your videos! I did receive some feedback from one of my Youtube friends that there was a little too much talking and not enough demonstrating in one of my previous clips - hence the comments!

Hope your cold has gone by now!

  • @pyestudiocolour I can't help playing Mrs Mills...I think she's Great...haha!!!

You are very at good narrating Neil...It seems to come naturally to you...No hint of waffle in your videos...Just interesting info...I waffle...I know I do...And I say "Erm" far too much...haha!!!

Worst cold I've had in ages...It's really wiped me out...I had the day off work yesterday anyway and just wasted it in bed...The poor old Hacker hasn't moved on yet...But it will when I'm back to normal...haha!!! :)

  • Wow those Hackers look like solid units. Great bass response too. Looks great.

  • @margaretsville Yes they really are solid and very well made...This one has a had a hard time though...But I enjoy them the most when they come to me in a state...It'll be fine when it's had plenty of TLC!

    Thanks for commenting! :)

  • hahahahahahaah mrs mills !!!!

  • @loyboy1979 Just for you mate...Coz I know how much you like our Glad...haha!!!

It was so hard for me to not burst out laughing when I said that...hahahahaaaaa!!!! :)

  • Sounds great. Great job so far. How long did it take between the first video, and this one to get it this far?

What do you do to straighten the grill?

  • @727JeffN The first video was Friday Night...This one is Saturday morning...It's now Sunday morning and I haven't touched it since, due to this horrible cold I've got...But it won't take me long to finish when I get going again.

I used nothing more than a small pair of needle nose pliers and a tiny screw driver on the front...But I will straighten the rest when I remove it from the player. Thanks for commenting Jeff!!! :)

  • @GarrardAT6 That's amazing progress!

  • i believe you are a miracle worker !

  • @sablestable Thanks Andrew!! I know you've done a few more videos...I'm saving them for when I get 5 minutes of 'me' time to enjoy them!! :)

  • ...........by the way - is that a begging bowl on the lid? It will fill up in no time!

  • @IVORIESMAN How observant you are Joe...haha!!!

Yes it is...Now if you'd just place the drive spindle from your SP25MKIII in it, we'll get up to 78rpm in no time...haha!!! :)

  • Holy Moses! I can't believe this machine has improved so much in such a short space of time. I have to say I was worried about the grille in the previous video, but just look at it now! It's unbelievable. I take my hat off to you sir (no - two hats). Marvellous job so far - can't wait to see and hear the finished article....

  • @IVORIESMAN Thanks Joe...We do what we can...haha!!!

I haven't touched it since this video due to my cold...But I'll have another go later on today 'hopefully'.

It's amazing what a little TLC can do...haha!!!
