Ending Marijuana prohibition and ending the war in iraq are great ideas. What is not great is that he wants to eliminate public schools which is a terrible idea and is bad hope for America's future.

I think the answer is clear. We have tried both ways now and one has been found wanting.

Yes I sure as hell think that our public schools are teaching our next generations better than if the whole system was eliminated. If we did this, education would be on the decline because not everyone can afford private schools. As far as homeschooling most Americans have a busy lifestyle. We need this system to keep our nation prospering instead of declining. We owe this for our future. I sure know I dont want to live in a third world country.

Your whole reply is based upon fear. Have you forgotten America's heritage? It has only been relatively recent that the government has become so involved in education. In other words, government ran schools are not what built this nation.

I guess I was wrong that he wanted to get rid of the whole system but instead a state level of funding. I still dont understand a couple things though. How is it against the constitution and it is still run by the government if the state funds it. Explain exactly how it is a failure. I want to understand your point of view.

The two party system is controlled...not by the people. The Libertarian Party has been infiltrated. This country needs multiple parties to step up and be to many to be controlled...except by the people. If a candidate is afraid to use the constitution as a guide to vote by check their funding and you will see who they are controlled by...not the people.
