  • "they ain't so tough."

    "huh?"

    THEY AIN'T SO TOUGH."

    "What are you, crazy?"

    Lol.

  • Young my ass common sense people

  • I just can't believe that all of this would happen, especially since its been only, what, 40 or so years after WWII?

  • @luliszthegameaddict I take it you've never heard of the Die Welle incident in the 70's? Believe me, it could happen.

  • @luliszthegameaddict lul its already happening. think about it. In tv shows the enemies are more overt, but in reality they hide in the shadows of power. The erosion of our economic system, educational system, we are all suspicious of each other, at war with shadows our government calls "the enemy" but we ahve yet to see visible evidence of the enemy. And we are durged up with "energy drinks" which are really jsut sugar water. Its happeneing.

  • Robin wasn't selfish, Robin was a teenager. She couldn't comprehend the magnitude. Remember the Visitors were very clever at appearances. She couldn't understand the science talk and was a curious child (with adult hormones) roaming around. That's how she got caught and taken to the mothership.

  • that main dude is like hansolo and luke skywalker roller into one

  • Yeah but later on you see Robin is a selfish bitch after she has the star child she wants all the attention for herself.

  • that jew guy was so dumb omg

  • Robin is just young. Some people are too hard on her. She didn't know that all this would happen.

  • Pure Meaning of Irony - Sell out your friends for your life and then someone close to you dies/ LMFO

  • Robin sure was an idiot. Another stupid a@s messing up everything by letting her hormones get in the way.

  • cause and effect. dr. jackass.

  • Leaders order people around. That is what they do. Lol.

  • @wh2hashitaka--I love retarded comments like that, it's like an audience at Ricky Lake or Jerry Springer back in those days: "Julie needs to stop ordering people around!" what's next? "Those people need to tell those aliens to get the hell out of the planet!" YEAH!!!! :)

  • Robin says Momma?! Yes, because you're ass couldn't stay in the house.

  • @Adrianrulz and what?

  • Oh god....stereotypical "jive Talking Black man". LOL. Ya just gotta laugh at that!

    Jive turkey's....they aint so tough!

  • the rebels should have executed him...as a rebel leader i would have.

  • I see it, but if you look at it, its been Robin who has been screwing up through out the whole show.

  • Damn right bro! he became a liability, and he put all of them at risk. Kill him or lock him up!

  • yo!! where is the hot doctor and hot teen(red hair babe) today??

  • What a heart-wrenching scene with Robert and his family. Robin's crying demands sympathy... so sad :'-(

  • This scene should end with the traitor shooting himself in the head. Or someone else doing it for him. I cant believe there are no repercussions.

  • No repercussions? The dude sold out everyone, and thought they'd get a slap on the wrist. Instead, a bunch got killed, including his wife, and his kids got to see her fresh corpse.

    I'd say lesson learned. :P

In a way, he shot himself in the head long before this scene....

  • I blame the stupid daughter Robin. No one told her to live the building but she did. It all happened because he was trying to protect her.

  • If you know what happens to him at the end, he redeems himself.

  • I watched the end. Maybe you saw something that I didn't, but how does a man go about redeeming himself after causing the deaths of countless people including those in his own family AND jeopardizing the entire resistance movement? Please explain.

  • *SPOILER AHEAD* DON'T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN

Robert pilots one mothership to crash against the Visitors' new weapon, and while pilots, the Resistance escapes the ship.

  • It was Robin's fault

  • @Adrianrulz your sure right. she's responsible for all those peeps dying. she's rotten, spoiled & its always her way or no way.

  • @Adrianrulz what?

  • You know, if everyone was wise from the start, and if everyone was just keen to fight in general, then there would be no need for any secret resistance, everyone would resist. But that is the problem, divide and conquer, the lone warrior is rejected by both sides, but he is right just to follow his instincts and fend for just himself and his family, thus not supporting any form of organised faction.

  • Look up the 80/20 principle. You'll see what I mean.

  • @silverhawks nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng

  • @sudnaidu They are resisting, the whole point of being a resistance movement is to be as secret as possible so the members will be safe, but still fight the oppressors. What should they do go up to the visitors and say hi I wanna kill you because I know what you really are? The Visitors had taken over the only way they could still fight was to be secret. By the way Robert does fight with the resistors after this. They still are humans, still have to eat and live and do human things.

  • Its unfortunate that his blonde daughter has twice the balls he does.

  • dis would not happen f d stupid bitch didnt run away,,

  • Fight who? ANd with what, you Mosue Trap board game. The ships never landed, so who was she fighting. The series still rocks though. Has anyone located teh scene where teh alien takes off her clothes for DONOVAN?>

  • Send in another wave, stupid aliens. The whole resistance is there! Crush them!!!

  • This series captured many of the realities of insurgencies and occupations. The Visitor's were years from home and had limited troop resources. Additionally, they're mission plan changed occationally throughout the saga. Finally, they lost the political will to forge on regardless of the cost.

The story of occupation and resistance is not a new one. Even resently we have seen how occupations can fail. The Congo, Rowanda, Afganistan and Iraq, all have revealed the same storyline.

  • Not when Diane's face has been ruined.

  • @mrsomebody "You sure don't look like an Iguana." "What?" "Bad taste."

That exchange always cracks me up.

  • it's hard to pick just one fave scene in this movie, but this scene, and in the last chapter where Julie is shooting the 45 at Diana's ship both touching scenes.

  • some one can tell me where is the chapter when he find lot of persons, sorry about my english.

  • its around about 50, where they find the humans on the mothership comatosed.

  • I forgot Eddie Kane was in this! lol "some times I wish that rain drops would fall"

  • the military does nothing since they believe the visitors are their friends and the military does nothing without the president's order and he doesn't see the visitors for what they really are.

  • Most people had been brainwashed like Daniel.

  • Daniel wasn't brainwashed like say the scientists and others but he was one of those that was too blind to see what the visitors really are. And even if he knows it he is glad to work with them since they are ruling the planet and calling the shots. His loyalty is rewarded by them too.

In WW2 many people in the countries the nazis occupied gladly helped the nazis hunt down jews and others that fought against the nazis.

This is the reason Daniel's jewish grandfather is so disgusted by him.

  • Hear Hear!

Listen to interview recordings of Steve Quayle, Alex Collier and David Icke here on Youtube, it is a BIG eye opener.

  • where is the military this whole time?

  • Under house arrest. It said so earlier.

  • My absolute favorite scene in the whole series. Harnell's music is immortal. I can watch this a thousand times...
