So whats with all you Jesus loving conservatives? You can't read the Sermon on the Mount and tell me that this man is the epitome of Christian evil. Is he not the Pharisees and Pontus Pilate and Herod and Pharaoh? Granted there are plenty of conservative portions of the Bible, since it was written as the Law for a tribal people. But the best moments in Jesus are the eternal universal truths that escape time and place. If your going to be a conservative based on Nietzsche and Darwin fine! Not JC!
