@Zentz29 ah. hehehhehe I guess rational and common sense didn't apply. well, I don't know much about him but no, that old bitch finally moved. 2 other nutjobs moved in and they had 2 boxers that barked constantly and it was a huge problem also. THEY finally moved and now this guy and girlfriend are there with 2 small dogs. they stay inside most of the time and i don't hear loud WOOFs all night so it's FINALLY AFTER ALMOST 10 YEARS okay.
It looks like they had a fence around their yard, so if u don't want to see it then why are u sticking ur head over the fence taking a picture? Her dogs barked? oh, maybe if u quit lurking the dogs would quit barking.
@TheAmazingamerica Maybe if the neighbor would contribute to the property value of the neighbor hood instead of detracting from it, the picture and video would be about how NICE the neighbor's yard is. No one would get mad over a picture COMPLIMENTING the yard. But since the neighbors are fucking embarrassed scumbags, all the sudden the act of taking a picture is an invasion of privacy. Please
Have your property always presentable cause someone just might exercise their right to take a picture.
We have the opposite problem, the neighbors are retired and are the HOA, They try to dictate EVERYTHING. Only because we don't belong to their HOA we can ignore some of their requests. They lie to the cops to come down to our house and basically repeat what the HOA wants. We don't belong to them. We park the pickup on the side of the road. City comes and tags it. HOA Couple has a massive RV parked damn near the middle of the road for weeks on end city refuses to even come out and take a look.
@startreking2007 yeah, no justice in the world. If you want to live a certain way, great. if that interferes with someone's basic rights, then you should really consider their position. Parking a vehicle in the street happens a lot and it's not great but sometimes you have to if you don't have a drive way big enough. But dogs barking all night and day... that's just redneck retardville. If I played a guitar loud all night, would they appreciate it? I didn't think so. :)
@TruthSurge I'd agree that dogs barking 24/7 is annoying but that doesn't put anything on your criminal record, or at least I don't think it would.
If you played guitar all night near me I'll bring out the lawn chair and fall asleep to the music. Or during the day have something to listen to while doing yard work.
@TeesByTruthSurge I had to grow a hedge along my back fence because (we will call him Bill) the idiot brings home trash, wood, all kinds of shit. Bill never uses this shit ,it just rots where it lays. The police (it wasn't me who called) have been there several times, I think they gave up. Of course he has a huge dog that runs around, sprinting through it's own feces which go flinging off the mutts paws. A regular scene from Donte's Inferno.
Ugh, I got some trash neighbor stories. I also have a pretty good neighbor. The fucking dogs, I should count the dogs on my block. I bet there is 100. People need to shut their stupid dogs up.
@bonacman You might go to the city attorney's office and see if they can help. not sure. they also might have some advice to help. My left neighbor had 10 dogs in his backyard. yeah. crazy. anyway, good luck!
Hey, I'd probably like those neighbors. I have the opposite... I've got the pompous "well off" neighbors who think they're better than everyone... The type that like, constantly asks you "Do you have a permit for that?" for whatever personal project you're building in your yard, that doesn't affect them one way or the other.
@AisuSeijin I'd say whatever you dig is your business. But barking dogs all day and night is just a sign that they need to go back to the sticks where they came from.
@AisuSeijin .........maybe your neighbors don't think they're better than everyone. It's probably just you realizing your habit of doing the bare minimum is having a negative impact on others. It sounds like the reason they inquire about your "projects" is they hold the appearance of the neighborhood to a higher standard than you.
My house looks just as good or better than any house on the block. No, trust me, they're dicks. Building new steps so your dying mother with cancer can get up the fucking stairs, doesn't ruin the appearance of the neighborhood.
That's only one of thousands of examples of the kind of dickery that goes on. Even the town inspector came over and said to us "Who in the neighborhood doesnt like you? Some shithead called and complained about the dumbest things." and told us we're ok, and up to par.
I detest bad neighbors. They claim they're free to do what they like. The problem is they're not the only people on the planet. Freedom isn't just about rights but also respect and responsibility, the 'three Rs of freedom'.
We moved to an idyllic cul-de-sac spot with great neighbors. Sadly, our next-door neighbors moved out and some dreadful people moved in, but were kicked out when they didn't pay their mortgage. Then squatters moved in. It was a nightmare until they in turn were kicked out.
@geffel These hateful gays to my right keep saying they're moving and it never happens. I just wonder what they do for income. They seem pretty dumb and very hateful. Whatever could they be doing to drive big SUVs and such? I wondered if they were dealing drugs since I always heard door slams at 2am and 3am. Maybe EVENTUALLY they will move and I hope it isn't worse after that.
@TruthSurge that's good, i know people that have been job hunting for a long time now, i'm lucky i have one. you could try your hand at pretending to be the "returned" messiah, i heard that pays pretty well. j/k of course, anyway good luck! :-D

I absolutely sympathize, I have a complete jerk of a neighbor myself... he's a complete workaholic and he shows no consideration at all... he will start hammering away as early as he can, often at 7 in the morning... in the weekends!
He also often keeps it up until 11 in the evening... and it's pretty much every day.
I don't mind people working on their houses and such but this guy takes it to the next level and then some.
Of course it's nowhere near as bad as the crap you deal with thuogh!
@laffer35 I've had the same thing. My bedroom widow is 10 ft from their driveway and backyard. every car door slam at 2am. my sleep is broken unless I sleep with earplugs but doing that 7 or 8 hrs a day for months isn't good.
My next investment is to put mdf boards in the windows and across the walls of my bedroom. At LEAST 2 thick (1.5 ") and as many as will fit in the windows. maybe 3". THAT, by god, will muffle that sheeeet! Now if I can find $400 for the boards. $25/pop.
It sucks you have to go through this. Growing up as a kid, my neighbor was a mean ass alcoholic and made life hell for my family. It wasn't a matter of a crappy yard, but he killed several of my pets and was an around around terrible person. Neighbor problems can sometimes be solved civilly but there's always those that are fully committed to a life of misery and they want everyone to join them.
Theres a family on my street that has no less than five half disassembled cars cluttering there backyard. they also had 3 dogs that I don't think they ever cleaned up after, and I'm pretty sure they haven't thrown out anything since 1986.
A friend of mine had the same problem with her neighbours who built kennels in the back yard for 10-20 dogs without planning permission. These dogs barked incessantly. 6 families moved out. They even threatened my friend with a knife when they caught her taking pictures. She had to move eventually.
People like that only understand fear and violence. Reasoning with them is pointless. It's as if unless you are willing to go to jail for assault or murder, you either put up with it or move out :(
@pirbird14 Im not so sure about that, your statement reminds me of anti gun-control logic. If there were, say a whole shitload less dogs in my neighborhood I would be much less likely to be irritated by dogs barking their fool heads off. I think owners enjoy the noise. It's one of the fundamental differences between dog and cat people.
@demonorse I the owners trained their dogs properly, they wouldn't be barking their fool heads off all day (and night). If people treated their guns properly, there would be fewer accidental shootings. Where is the"anti-gun control logic" in that?
@pirbird14 Gun nuts tend to blame owners (guns dont kill people do) we have all heard that one. When in fact having a gun in your hand makes it much easier to kill, hence less guns, less killing. Same with barking dogs, the less there are, the less barkingthere will be. I don't own a dog, yet every day of my life I hear multiple dogs barking.
@demonorse "every day of my life I hear multiple dogs barking" Then I guess you know more about dog training than I do. You've heard hundreds of dogs, whereas I've trained 8.
btw you can't train a gun. They just don't listen to voice commands or clickers and don't respond to cajoling and treats.
@pirbird14 What does hearing a dog bark have to do with training a dog? What I am saying is trashy neighbors invariably have a dog, or more than one dog, and they don't care how long the dog barks or when. Dog owners seem to be unable or unwilling to do anything. Obviously you like dogs thats fine. The barking dog is just a symptom of peoples lack of concern for others, like parking at the pump to buy a pack of smokes. Stupid people will never train their dogs maybe you should offer to for free!
@demonorse " What I am saying is trashy neighbors invariably have a dog, or more than one dog, and they don't care how long the dog barks or when."
That's pretty much the point I was making when I said there are no stupid dogs, just stupid owners. Since you seem to agree with me, why are you arguing?
@pirbird14 I prefer the term "debating". I think it started with the bad owner, bad dog thing and we both seem to be a bit stubborn. Maybe next we should debate the virtues (or lack of) of including someone elses sentences in ones rebuttal. LOL.
@pirbird14 Jebus, your touchy aren't you! Mr dog trainer! It's ok, other people begin comments with sentences that they plagerized. I see it all the time! And you have only done it twice.
@demonorse I was quoting your exact words so you would know exactly which comments of yours I was responding to because you've obviously forgotten what this conversation was about. That's not called "plagiarism" - that's called accurate citation.
Now it turns out you never had a point in the first place. On the internet, when you interject yourself into a conversation without having an actual point to make, you are a troll.
@alowlyapprentice I was just saying that! hahahah Her life.... must be a quite miserable existence. I smile inwardly just thinking about her sufferings. :)
I bet the neighbour thinks your yard is nasty. Some folks have a very skewed idea of what beautiful looks like. Also, if they are lazy, they will not care to do yardwork or take time to clean up. Wonder what the inside of the house looks like?
@kurtilein3 I live in one of the most humid areas of the US. HOT and humid. You see my mom's yard. But that pic is not in the winter. It's just how the yard looked.
i already dont like the first lawn you showed, and at a point assumed that you would next show a really nice looking garden as a contrast to the green monoculture desert the video started out with....
i think you are showing two ends of a scale, and a beautiful lawn is somewhere halfway inbetween. for it to be beautiful, you need maybe for a start around 100 species of plants, and sometimes you need to be able to just let go and let it grow.
@kurtilein3 The vid wasn't about showing a garden-like yard. It was to show how filthy my neighbor's yard was. That was all. I just put my parent's yard in as sort of a contrast, a better pt of reference. But I do agree, beauty is a matter of taste and I personally love to see plants and more wild plants growing but I'm no plant person. I'm lucky just to get my grass mowed.
Gads. I'll never understand why people want to create an environment that encroaches into other's lives. Especially to people they have to live next to. I've had neighbors like that in my old neighborhood. I feel for you.
@InfidelAvenger I called everyone. They all pointed fingers at the other. I eventually called the city attorney's office and they had a talk with him. He's down to 2 in the backyard and like 3 in the house and a cat or two.
Stuck in the Middle with You. That's rough, Man. And Your Microwave too?
Sounds like reverse gentrification Going on there. Do your Neighbors own the houses? Maybe you can get the town involved...but be careful, and always watch your back; things can spiral quickly out of control when certain mindsets are involved.
@ijitdunn "Maybe you can get the town involved..." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
sorry, but that's funny. ALL the neighbors are rednecks who wouldn't stick up for someone unless it was Billy Bob. No, I'll just stop going to them or the city and handle things myself. I'm going to put some mdf up in my bedroom to shut out the one neighbor's booming around at 7am. Will cost me prob $200 for enough sheets so it has to wait till I can get a steady gig.
@Paxmax white trash. dumb, inbred, heartless, scum. I mean, that's not hyperbole either. The one guy who had 10 dogs isn't that way but he's just irresponsible. He actually does auditing for the IRS and he just let his yard and house run down. Roaches .5 inches long on the fence. I went into his house weeks ago and no carpet! His animals pissed it away. Junk ALL over the house and it was hard to believe.
that's why I hate living in so-called subdivisions, at least in my neighbourhood all the lots are at least 100 feet wide and 250 feet deep, it's way more peaceful than the area just up the road
@AbdultheImpailler Prob is, when I first moved in, I had a 70ish lady on my left, a nice Christian family on my right and the asshole behind me wasn't there. Dig this, the guy at left I knew in this town I went to college in. The guy behind me I went to school in 5th grade with him. My house value prob dropped in the last 10 years.
I had the same problem for a while (I live in Texas... go figure) and a friend told me to call the city and tell them I saw rats rummaging thru the trash and wood in the backyard. I did so and it worked! The city gave them 2 weeks to clean up all the trash and wood. If they don't comply, the city will come clean it up and send the homeowner a bill. Hell, It's worth a shot, give it a try, it worked for me!
@sheri226 too late for the pic in the vid. She's gone. And the two homos who are there now don't throw their litter in the yard like she did. So, I'm going to buy some BUSH BE GONE! hahhahaha Bye-bye little honeysuckle vine.
@kegs666 Well, it's worked great since I had it. I wonder if the power levels shortened its lifespan. You hit 7 power and it turns off and on to achieve it. ?
This kind of stuff infuriates me on a level that I almost can't describe. It's like, does a human actually live there? Have these people ever used that mass of tissue in their skull to eek out one secure rational moment of clarity, or is their life a mire of confusion and "fuck it" moments? I'm not the cleanest person in the world, and I'm not always the most pleasant (naw, really!), but some things just seem inhuman, and I'm not even talking about crimes of humanity. Some people are animals.
The dog issue may represent a legal "noise" disturbance that can be reported to the authorities.
If there is a homeowner association in your neighborhood, perhaps they can enforce any code or other regulation regarding the state of your neighbors property.
You are being victimized and not allowed to enjoy the full use of your real estate...
@AtheosEthos "The dog issue may represent a legal "noise" disturbance that can be reported to the authorities."
I asked her once about it and she, like this other guy, just went off on me about my dog and this and that and one night around 11:30pm I called the police about her dogs barking and they arrested ME. I asked them what the charge was and they said harassment. I was in jail till 3am and had to get my 80 something year old dad out of bed to pay the $250 to get me out. yeah.
@TruthSurge Your "harassment" was calling the police?? And THAT`S what brought you into jail???
I cannot believe this..
BTW with this kind of neighbours i advise the film "Flodder" to get at least some fun out of it. Yep the dutch make films not high art but give it a try. ;)
@0PsycoDad0 Yep, my life has had some amazingly sucky times. Herniated discs, unusable fingertips, almost couldn't get out of a chair 3 years ago from leg injuries, laid off from my job twice, panic attacks that put me in the hospital, stomach ulcer and weird stomach issues, seborrheic dermatitis, wife left me while I was at work, divorced 2 years later, and I'm running out of space but you get the idea.
@0PsycoDad0 Actually, it's a bit more complicated but in essence, yeah. She had ME arrested by previously swearing out some type of warrant and having that on file so that when I called again to gripe about her dogs at midnight, she could tell the cops there was a warrant for my arrest and they would have to take me in. I'm telling you, it was twilight zone.
@TruthSurge Dude, maybe i´m evil socialist now but over here we have a municipal standarts office (i don´t know if the translation fits) dealing with this.
This regulatory agency is also concearned with neighbourhoods where such trash dumping causes rat infestations or other health risks.
The´re also enforcing animal rights. When s.o. has 10 dogs they´re often somewhat deprivated.
Too much property rights infringement for many US citizens i know but helps to keep sloth at bay you know.
@0PsycoDad0 Well, she's gone so the yard is not like that now. But no, you can hardly get anyone here to step in. Don't know. You are made out to be a villain when you are the one being harassed. Then they say oh, you are the one complaining all the time. ! Um, yeah, when I have trash in my yard all the time from them. When roaches and fleas are infesting from their yard. etc.
@Deioth It just made a 60 cycle hum for about 1 sec before going totally off. I didn't know if it was dangerous but I left the room for a while then came back and unplugged it. So, now I can't heat these pads till I get a new one and that prob won't happen till I find some steady work.
Gonna take a shitty and wipe my neighbor...

Since you seem to agree with me, why are you arguing?
pirbird14 9 months ago
@pirbird14 I prefer the term "debating". I think it started with the bad owner, bad dog thing and we both seem to be a bit stubborn. Maybe next we should debate the virtues (or lack of) of including someone elses sentences in ones rebuttal. LOL.
demonorse 9 months ago
@demonorse I have no idea what point you are attempting to make, and I doubt you do either. This is not a debate.
pirbird14 9 months ago
@pirbird14 Jebus, your touchy aren't you! Mr dog trainer! It's ok, other people begin comments with sentences that they plagerized. I see it all the time! And you have only done it twice.
demonorse 9 months ago
@demonorse I was quoting your exact words so you would know exactly which comments of yours I was responding to because you've obviously forgotten what this conversation was about. That's not called "plagiarism" - that's called accurate citation.
Now it turns out you never had a point in the first place. On the internet, when you interject yourself into a conversation without having an actual point to make, you are a troll.
Goodbye.

Wonder what the inside of the house looks like?

i have to ask, is this a very dry area, or does stuff grow on its own at acceptable rates?
kurtilein3 1 year ago
@kurtilein3 I live in one of the most humid areas of the US. HOT and humid. You see my mom's yard. But that pic is not in the winter. It's just how the yard looked.
TruthSurge 1 year ago
i already dont like the first lawn you showed, and at a point assumed that you would next show a really nice looking garden as a contrast to the green monoculture desert the video started out with....
i think you are showing two ends of a scale, and a beautiful lawn is somewhere halfway inbetween. for it to be beautiful, you need maybe for a start around 100 species of plants, and sometimes you need to be able to just let go and let it grow.
kurtilein3 1 year ago
@kurtilein3 The vid wasn't about showing a garden-like yard. It was to show how filthy my neighbor's yard was. That was all. I just put my parent's yard in as sort of a contrast, a better pt of reference. But I do agree, beauty is a matter of taste and I personally love to see plants and more wild plants growing but I'm no plant person. I'm lucky just to get my grass mowed.

Gads. I'll never understand why people want to create an environment that encroaches into other's lives. Especially to people they have to live next to. I've had neighbors like that in my old neighborhood. I feel for you.

Having ten dogs in one yard is a legit concern of the local Animal Welfare dept. I'd give them a call -- it'd be a start.
InfidelAvenger 1 year ago
@InfidelAvenger I called everyone. They all pointed fingers at the other. I eventually called the city attorney's office and they had a talk with him. He's down to 2 in the backyard and like 3 in the house and a cat or two.

Stuck in the Middle with You. That's rough, Man. And Your Microwave too?
Sounds like reverse gentrification Going on there. Do your Neighbors own the houses? Maybe you can get the town involved...but be careful, and always watch your back; things can spiral quickly out of control when certain mindsets are involved.
One!
ijitdunn 1 year ago
@ijitdunn "Maybe you can get the town involved..." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
sorry, but that's funny. ALL the neighbors are rednecks who wouldn't stick up for someone unless it was Billy Bob. No, I'll just stop going to them or the city and handle things myself. I'm going to put some mdf up in my bedroom to shut out the one neighbor's booming around at 7am. Will cost me prob $200 for enough sheets so it has to wait till I can get a steady gig.
TruthSurge 1 year ago
yikes! I can't stand our own dogs barking so we get them to shut up when it's not barking time. How can they just let them do that 24/7??
Paxmax 1 year ago
@Paxmax white trash. dumb, inbred, heartless, scum. I mean, that's not hyperbole either. The one guy who had 10 dogs isn't that way but he's just irresponsible. He actually does auditing for the IRS and he just let his yard and house run down. Roaches .5 inches long on the fence. I went into his house weeks ago and no carpet! His animals pissed it away. Junk ALL over the house and it was hard to believe.
TruthSurge 1 year ago
that's why I hate living in so-called subdivisions, at least in my neighbourhood all the lots are at least 100 feet wide and 250 feet deep, it's way more peaceful than the area just up the road
AbdultheImpailler 1 year ago
@AbdultheImpailler Prob is, when I first moved in, I had a 70ish lady on my left, a nice Christian family on my right and the asshole behind me wasn't there. Dig this, the guy at left I knew in this town I went to college in. The guy behind me I went to school in 5th grade with him. My house value prob dropped in the last 10 years.
TruthSurge 1 year ago
I had the same problem for a while (I live in Texas... go figure) and a friend told me to call the city and tell them I saw rats rummaging thru the trash and wood in the backyard. I did so and it worked! The city gave them 2 weeks to clean up all the trash and wood. If they don't comply, the city will come clean it up and send the homeowner a bill. Hell, It's worth a shot, give it a try, it worked for me!
sheri226 1 year ago
@sheri226 too late for the pic in the vid. She's gone. And the two homos who are there now don't throw their litter in the yard like she did. So, I'm going to buy some BUSH BE GONE! hahhahaha Bye-bye little honeysuckle vine.

@kegs666 Well, it's worked great since I had it. I wonder if the power levels shortened its lifespan. You hit 7 power and it turns off and on to achieve it. ?
TruthSurge 1 year ago

If it cannot get it resolved, call a lawyer.
Peace.
AtheosEthos 1 year ago
@AtheosEthos "The dog issue may represent a legal "noise" disturbance that can be reported to the authorities."
I asked her once about it and she, like this other guy, just went off on me about my dog and this and that and one night around 11:30pm I called the police about her dogs barking and they arrested ME. I asked them what the charge was and they said harassment. I was in jail till 3am and had to get my 80 something year old dad out of bed to pay the $250 to get me out. yeah.
TruthSurge 1 year ago
@TruthSurge Your "harassment" was calling the police?? And THAT`S what brought you into jail???
I cannot believe this..
BTW with this kind of neighbours i advise the film "Flodder" to get at least some fun out of it. Yep the dutch make films not high art but give it a try. ;)
0PsycoDad0 1 year ago
@0PsycoDad0 Yep, my life has had some amazingly sucky times. Herniated discs, unusable fingertips, almost couldn't get out of a chair 3 years ago from leg injuries, laid off from my job twice, panic attacks that put me in the hospital, stomach ulcer and weird stomach issues, seborrheic dermatitis, wife left me while I was at work, divorced 2 years later, and I'm running out of space but you get the idea.
TruthSurge 1 year ago
@0PsycoDad0 Actually, it's a bit more complicated but in essence, yeah. She had ME arrested by previously swearing out some type of warrant and having that on file so that when I called again to gripe about her dogs at midnight, she could tell the cops there was a warrant for my arrest and they would have to take me in. I'm telling you, it was twilight zone.
TruthSurge 1 year ago
@TruthSurge Dude, maybe i´m evil socialist now but over here we have a municipal standarts office (i don´t know if the translation fits) dealing with this.
This regulatory agency is also concearned with neighbourhoods where such trash dumping causes rat infestations or other health risks.
The´re also enforcing animal rights. When s.o. has 10 dogs they´re often somewhat deprivated.
Too much property rights infringement for many US citizens i know but helps to keep sloth at bay you know.
0PsycoDad0 1 year ago
@0PsycoDad0 Well, she's gone so the yard is not like that now. But no, you can hardly get anyone here to step in. Don't know. You are made out to be a villain when you are the one being harassed. Then they say oh, you are the one complaining all the time. ! Um, yeah, when I have trash in my yard all the time from them. When roaches and fleas are infesting from their yard. etc.
TruthSurge 1 year ago
@AtheosEthos This creature finally moved out and two of her relatives or acquaintences moved in and it was dog bark hell all over again.
