Well, I'll always have a bias toward my beloved Corps. I have to say that service to my country gave me more discipline and resolve where life is concerned. As far as being a sniper. Have your math scores in high order, and be ready for rugged physical and MENTAL training. Remember that being a sniper is a job where you are killing someone's child. And above all, believe in yourself.
