what the hell was that? where did they find the new guitarist? terry balsamo I could deal with but the solo that guy did was halfway slaughtering ben moody's and the other half was ..well...nothing to do with the sound of evanescence..has he even listened to the music lol

@temari190 Cause in studio you have much more time to record the stuff so you're not exhausted after the first verse... plus in studio you put a HELL of a lot of effects, corrections etc. And whetever singers do, they always end up exhausted as fuck after two songs anyway, she does a really awesome job. She keeps her voice quite well and she tries to imitate the studio effects without having them, only with her voice.
@DarkLordNagash actually usually they can keep their voices very well and stable after 2 songs... ^^' if you watch tarja turunen and the nightwish concerts she's just as good on the first song as on the last...

I don't purposely try to hate on her, actually I don't hate on her at all, it's just when I listen to her I don't hear anything impressive or anything remotely similar to actual singing, she completely wails out all her lyrics, especially in her slower songs, and her belts lol, aren't even belts, she just screams, I mean 2:27 - 2:32 what the hell is that?

They do have some catchy beats, but I don't think it's that talented of a band, Amy Lee writes very repatative songs, the open door and fallen are exactly alike, not much originality there, though she does have good energy and great stage presence

I think they pull out some heavy stuff here and there man there were alot of heavier bands that night more importantly Evanescence is musical it's important to be musical rather than create noise.
