  • @spiritdancerify i agree that he has amezing songs, but it's not his song:) it was written in 1931 :)

  • Great! That's the only thing to say :-)

  • I don't even know how to say it, he's just so magnificent in so many way. BEAUTIFUL in every aspect!! One of the best voices ever!! We're so lucky.

  • I've been a fan since the wham days .. GM style & music is 1 of a kind ..

  • George Michael can sing the hell out of any song. He needs a come back...WE need him to come back.

  • George Michael can sing the shit out of any song. He needs a come back.

  • i love this man <3!!!

  • Such a beautiful man and voice.

  • Great!!! This live version is actually better than the original cover version in the songs from the last century album.

  • Give me George Michael rather than George Clooney any day!!! Don't give a shit if he's gay! Don't have a chance with either anyway so wot the hey!!! Dream away!

  • @07pollee2ndtime I agree with you!

  • Most artists murder other peoples music. George, however, has the knack of being utterly convincing at virtually everything he chooses to sing from other artists back catalogues. He could probably sing Britney or Bieber and make it sound believable.....

  • U BET!!!

  • Omg... new favorite song

  • Love you

  • He is the most perfect artist ever!!! love love love and adore him

  • The best vocalist ot his generation! A very talented man, but not behind the wheel!

  • @XELURST get anger management!

  • what a voice!!! could listen to him 25/8

  • Sorry bros, listen to Tom Waits Version, Now Thats What I call Music

  • @davitdavit87 Have listened to Tom Waits but sorry to say it sounds very contrived. An attempt to override substance with style, which didn't quite come off. Sounded a bit like Louis Armstrong, with overtones of some infliction caused by smoking too many cigarettes. Each to his own, but definitely not what I'd call music.

  • good

  • I hope he will sings jazz standard in the future.

  • ok sorry but this version really does nothing....go listen to RUDY VALLEE HE KICKS ASS!!!!

  • Thank you Flawless1212 for this amazing video.

This is best of the best!

  • He can sing...but I doubt that with his millions, he realy needs a dime! :D

  • I checked out a dozen versions of this song, from 1931 through now. It is not an easy song to sing well. George Michael knocks it out of the park. The best version I've ever heard.

  • A M A Z I N G ! ! ! !

  • Over-bite or what?

  • brings back memories of having the pleasure of being there, it ws great!!!

  • @emissaryofdark Same here! I was there at Ned Aid at Wembley Stadium as well!! :D Was one of the best live concerts I've been to in terms of atmostphere and overall line up. This song in particular was a highlight of the day - it doesn't come across fully in the video, but I remember that the sheer power of his vocals here really reverberated through the stadium and it actually made a shiver go down my spine! Great memories.

  • does anybody know who's playing piano here?

  • @czarlston Chris Cameron, his musical director and piano player.

  • meraviglioso

  • This is beautiful. ty!!!

    classic song.

  • the best version is singer about Judy Collins in 1975 ....

  • Maravilloso!!! Grande George Michael!!!

  • Funny we are back in desperate financial crisis globally. Wake up folks! We have the New World Order causing all this! Listen to Alex Jones!

George sings this perfectly, best male singer of my generation. We are ready to fight the NWO - research their agenda folks!

  • I love this version but my grand parents at the age of 78 insist that Bing Crosby and Rudy Vallee were the best at it. So I argued about it but they seem to only relate to Crosby & Vallee to make them bring back the memories of Great Depression. Maybe there will be someone else covering this song when I reach 78 and I'd tell my grand kids that George is the best just like my grand parents said their preferences to me.

  • Quelle chanson, quelle musique, quel texte, bref, quelle finesse!! C'est parti pour un verre de scotch en bonne compagnie!!!

  • I've heard a Bing Crosby, Tom Waits, Al Jolson, and even a Tiny Tim version of this song and I loved them all in their own way. Nothing against this guy's voice, but I just don't feel the lyrics when he sings them. Not authentic at all.

  • there really is nothing this man cant sing!!!!

  • Different tastes, different styles... Waits renders the feeling, Michael a beautiful voice... Either one great versions.

  • @rickyreypr I suppose, to each his own. To me, songs are a) about feeling b) about lyrics and after that, a good voice. After that, instruments. I'm sure others mix it up differently. And I mix it up differently depending on areas of excellence. At the same time, think there's little room in the singing of covers, especially standards, without intelligenty interpreting lyrics. Michaels apparently didn't take the time to understand the song.

  • George can sing this beautifully, what a gift

  • Brilliant version of a ver sad song, hope we don't go back there.

  • spectacular glasses

  • クチパクだ・・・

    ま、それでも大ファンです。

  • gosh..he's really hot..George will you marry me?? LOL

  • George is easily one of the most talented vocalists of his generation. He's an amazing artist.

  • amazing, were the crowd deaf mutes?? no reaction

  • How beautiful and talented this man is. I was always in love in with him and his music and still am. Blessings.

  • I love this song. It's so powerful. Check out the wonderful piano accompaniment in this version. I also like the Al Jolson version.

  • I was at this concert, George Michael & Bowie were the highlights by a mile. The Corrs were just annoying.

This was Autumn 1999, not 2000.

  • Amazing song, amazing voice...

  • Praise to the live editor on this one! The camera angles are EXACTLY what we want! Good old close ups of the most gorgeous man in pop! And what a set of lungs haha! See you in August George xxx!
