Why nice topics you made them wrong, bad, inconsistent, and worthless.
Please next time, if you can have one, try to talk about nice wonderful, fullness, and glorious things. "Learn to become still, and take your attention from you don't wanna"
@ppesg I doubt you saw my speech or my movie. Neither is said. They honor America for the great and positive responses we had to challenge we perceived as threatening. I wish we could get together and use those same skills today and that is one of the reasons I made the movie.
the only way to get people off there hill billy asses was to scare them with some of the truth. space is for the smartest and best country support it or become a third world country
@sacapiloa As the speaker, I am responding to your comment. At the moment of the 50th anniversary, what exactly was I advertising? I was proud of the year and a half I spent making the movie and the movie ended up running as a History Channel documentary which it would have happened had I never spoken of Ted. I spoke to my colleagues about something that interested many of them. I am sorry you didn't see it that way.
Fuck that guy...some people in this world lack the qualities that are common in those that make a positive difference in the world they live in. Don't talk to him...if you're really Mr. Hoffman then talk to me...I'M A FAN! It's pretty cool to have someone like you right here on YouTube.
We can probably say that the response to the Sputnik launch was due to an intelligence gap. People tended to react to percieved threats instead of actual ones and this may have caused things to spiral out of control.
The response to Sputnik was fear. People in power use fear to manipulate the American people into doing what they want. 9/11 and Iraq are signs of the same thing.
After 9/11 Americans woulda dont anything same thing was true for Sputnik.
Free society? Wow, just seconds after he mentioning programs funded through coercion and fear mongering the people by the state he calls it a free society. Intellectual flip-floping at the highest level!
He said that a free society can be manipulated but that also a free society can also turn that into something good.
People may have been manipulated into reacting in fear but look at all the good that has come out of the space program and this countries brake out into the world of science.
ALLWAYS SAD THINGS WITH YOU!!!!
