Awesome soundtrack, brings back memories from the golden days of original Playstation. I have a demo of this game but would like to get the full game. Maybe this game comes to PSN as psone classic someday (or not!).

Thanks for the comment. I too have a demo disc that has a playable version of this game on it. That is how I discovered this game in the first place in fact.

I hate to say it, but I doubt that “Spider” will ever hit the PSN. Boss Game Studios closed their doors long ago, and I’m not sure who owns the rights to the game now. Still, let’s hope that it does so that more people can experience the wonderful game that is “Spider The Video Game”.

Yes, I completely agree.  It’s such a wonderful piece of music! Barry Leitch (the composer) did such an amazing job on this soundtrack!!

This track reminds me of the score from the early 90's movie "I Come in Peace". Which is a REAL good thing.

There is a set of tracks floating around that are supposedly straight from Barry Leitch himself. The track entitled "Sewer", which is the same track heard here, has a quick fade effect to it rather than just cutting off like this one.

The difference is mine is ripped directly from the game disc.

As for the conclusion of this track, it just ends that way. I've never been able to figure out why . All of the other tracks have a smooth ending to them, but not this one. Thats just how it is I'm afraid.

I couldn't find the soundtrack to this game anywhere on the net either. That's why I ripped it from my own game disc.

Bonus level? Rat with a machine gun on his back? Nope, I do not remember any such bonus level in this game like that.

Perhaps you are thinking of a different game entirely?

there were several bonus levels though to ulock them you need to find all the "orbs" in each level leading up to the bonus levels, it doesnt mention where the bonus levls are though so just make sure to find all the orbs in each level before going to the next

Ah yes, you must be referring to the scattered CD pieces throughout the game.

Many of those were pretty difficult to find as they were very well hidden. After many hours of playing, and revisiting the levels, I managed to find every one of them.

Some of those bonus levels are really cool too!

Question: How did you get the audio? I am wanting to rip the audio from my copy, but I cannot find a program that works with Windows 7. I want to rip it into wav and convert it to flac.

I agree! Its really innovative for a 2.5D platform game, there really arent any other games like it.

The soundtrack stands on its own as well. Truly the best CD-ROM based music that Ive heard as well.

This is the first music I Heard from Spider from a Demo. I pretty much thing of this as the Main Theme for Spider , but that's just me.
