Guys, you should have researched the history, first they were making the canal and it had to go through the cemtery, they moved as many graves as possible but many were not moved so peoples graves are still present there, also the train crash of two trains which finally caused the tunel to close, the blue ghost is suppose to be of the conductor waving to stop the other train, these poor lost souls lost their lives and had their graves desocrated, it is sad.

These 3 people I ran into with my friend asked me directions to there, and they were waiting for their friends, We went in and we heard voices, we thought it was those people but as we walked out no one was there, we walked out and they were like a mile away, that was messed, but I heard the most activity is @ midnight, go to the middle of the tunnel and turn your flashlights off and be silent! Oh, btw, another scary fact, the tunnel length is six hundred and sixty feet long (666) interesting.
I went there on Saturday night (Aug 15th 2009) and took a few pix, I been there a few times, but this time I uploaded my pix to my facebook, message me if you wanna see them. This was my first time to the Blue Ghost tunnel, my friends told me they had been there before and heard foot steps which ofcourse I didn't believe because I never belived in ghosts but today I do. If you ever get the chance check it out.
Also before we left I was looking at the tunnel from the outside and seen a old woman standing on the top right hand corner ledge. Once I got home I did research and found a clipping from 1867 of a woman sitting on top of the tunnel on the right hand side.
Myself and some friends went to the Blue Ghost Tunnel while we we're inside the tunnel we heard foot steps coming towards us as the guys on this video.
I been to the Screaming Tunnel many times, nothing happened, except this one time I snapped a photo of the wall which I thought something moved, I examined the photo blown up @ home on my computer and it looks there is a face in the wall, I asked alot of people and e-mailed people the photo and they agree there is something deifinetely in the photo, let me know if you or anyone else wants to have a look, it's pretty far out there.
Not sure if the place was haunted but the descriptions of a ghostly presence coming right up to the one guy were intriguing. This is definitely a place I wouldn't mind visiting. The blog connection at the beginning of the vid was perplexing.

wow, that's the most fucked up and wrong history of the BGT I have ever heard... it is NOT 200 years old, it's an old train tunnel, and the graveyard is a 5 min walk from the tunnel, not right by it. and the graves are not that old. It's from the old German church, and MOST (not all) of the graves were removed. In the 1600's the Niagara Region was still Native.
I heard that it is hard to get to and that you have to walk through alot of thick forest to get there.
I have a map ofthe tunnel but curve in the tunnel throws it way off, that's why if you are on top looking on the West End and walk directly across, it is NO WHERE near where it should be! Besides it is flooded with 3' of water. I was @ the tunnel last week but nothing happened. but you are right though, if it was well known on the East Entrance, it would get trashed like the West End is.

I was just there tonight, taking a few pictures and exploring (went alone just a flashlight and camera), but I didn't use the path, I walked down the road above it by the pumphouse, I got these weird red dots on the pictures that I didn't see when I was inside, can't really say they are orbs for sure but I hear red symbolizes anger and blue or green symbolize calmness. I walked out of there with chestpains, I was fine before I went in there, second time there recently and both times I felt ill.

Well, Niagara is kind of a general term for Niagara Falls all the way to Grimsby Ontario. Hamilton Paranormal's website has pretty good directions, those were the ones we used to find the place.

Yeah Niagara Region does border to Buffalo, NY, but we got 2 haunted tunnels, The BGT and The Screaming Tunnel, I have been to both, I live in Port Colborne and there is 2 haunted places here, an old haunted barn, which I have been to, kinda weird in there, and Hopkins Tomb on the outskirts of town @ a cemetary, last incident I heard was 3 guys went there for the myth, 1 guy lost his leg in a car accident, the other got 2nd degree burns in a fire, and the other died. Ive been there many times by myself and many other places. Never in my life have I had issues with anyone like "crackheads" or other people like "psychopaths". Thats all a myth. Real crackheads hang out in slums and downtown areas from what I know, and real pychopaths are not walking around alone in forests but are instead in cities with lots of "friends" and have good people skills.
I used to visit the tunnel over 4 years. I have unexplained pictures,voices. Once 2 unknown men talking to each other about the girl who was with us! It's not just the tunnel also the land (path) around it that unexplainable things appear. We have also heard the foot steps of a large man walking towards us.
He's right regarding someting following you back. The entertaiment valve quickly fades once you have a personel encounter with this entity.
well said delivery1969, it's a strange place. even working on the editing of the video was difficult, there was so many unexplained sounds on the tape that i didn't hear when we were there, and even aproaching the tunnel, i felt i was being watched. andy wanted to go back and I was like, 'no way! once is enough...' word to the wise, if you need to check this place out, have a strong spiritual foundation, you will not do well if you have low self esteem or you will be preyed upon.
This is why you should always throw in money to get a night vision. Because at least with that you can see where tha hell you're going, instead of wandering around without flash lights, and only seeing where you are whenever you take a picture of the place. ;]

we walked through, walked back, stopped at the front, took some pictures, and atone point, i heard footsteps walking in the distance, they were walking towards me, then they stopped. But right when we were about to leave, we heard running on the wood floorboards, and i felt it run right past me.
there still ways you can get in there but you have to walk from the road

These 3 people I ran into with my friend asked me directions to there, and they were waiting for their friends, We went in and we heard voices, we thought it was those people but as we walked out no one was there, we walked out and they were like a mile away, that was messed, but I heard the most activity is @ midnight, go to the middle of the tunnel and turn your flashlights off and be silent! Oh, btw, another scary fact, the tunnel length is six hundred and sixty feet long (666) interesting.

I went there on Saturday night (Aug 15th 2009) and took a few pix, I been there a few times, but this time I uploaded my pix to my facebook, message me if you wanna see them. (I got a couple freaky pix of the Screaming Tunnel as well) anyhow I am going back there next week with a device that measures energy, hopefully I will pick something up on there, stay tuned.

This was my first time to the Blue Ghost tunnel, my friends told me they had been there before and heard foot steps which ofcourse I didn't believe because I never belived in ghosts but today I do. If you ever get the chance check it out.

Also before we left I was looking at the tunnel from the outside and seen a old woman standing on the top right hand corner ledge. Once I got home I did research and found a clipping from 1867 of a woman sitting on top of the tunnel on the right hand side.

I been to the Screaming Tunnel many times, nothing happened, except this one time I snapped a photo of the wall which I thought something moved, I examined the photo blown up @ home on my computer and it looks there is a face in the wall, I asked alot of people and e-mailed people the photo and they agree there is something deifinetely in the photo, let me know if you or anyone else wants to have a look, it's pretty far out there.
Anyhow I am going back to BGT this week.

wow, that's the most fucked up and wrong history of the BGT I have ever heard... it is NOT 200 years old, it's an old train tunnel, and the graveyard is a 5 min walk from the tunnel, not right by it. and the graves are not that old. It's from the old German church, and MOST (not all) of the graves were removed. In the 1600's the Niagara Region was still Native.

I heard that it is hard to get to and that you have to walk through alot of thick forest to get there.
I have a map ofthe tunnel but curve in the tunnel throws it way off, that's why if you are on top looking on the West End and walk directly across, it is NO WHERE near where it should be! Besides it is flooded with 3' of water. I was @ the tunnel last week but nothing happened. but you are right though, if it was well known on the East Entrance, it would get trashed like the West End is.

hey guys im a fellow ghost hunter lol any way truth to be said i use top of the line camera's with 12x inferred lights thats sum powereful stuff i always have my cameras charged but there are tomany demons in that tunnel as well as hatful spirits i was mokeing them and i was in the middle of the tunnle that was a big NO NO cuse all my gear failed and each time i light my lighter it would blow out now as you can see there is now way it can and that place is the scary shit when demons scream at u!

I was just there tonight, taking a few pictures and exploring (went alone just a flashlight and camera), but I didn't use the path, I walked down the road above it by the pumphouse, I got these weird red dots on the pictures that I didn't see when I was inside, can't really say they are orbs for sure but I hear red symbolizes anger and blue or green symbolize calmness. I walked out of there with chestpains, I was fine before I went in there, second time there recently and both times I felt ill.

Well, Niagara is kind of a general term for Niagara Falls all the way to Grimsby Ontario. Hamilton Paranormal's website has pretty good directions, those were the ones we used to find the place.

Yeah Niagara Region does border to Buffalo, NY, but we got 2 haunted tunnels, The BGT and The Screaming Tunnel, I have been to both, I live in Port Colborne and there is 2 haunted places here, an old haunted barn, which I have been to, kinda weird in there, and Hopkins Tomb on the outskirts of town @ a cemetary, last incident I heard was 3 guys went there for the myth, 1 guy lost his leg in a car accident, the other got 2nd degree burns in a fire, and the other died. Coincidence?...............

Ive been there many times by myself and many other places. Never in my life have I had issues with anyone like "crackheads" or other people like "psychopaths". Thats all a myth. Real crackheads hang out in slums and downtown areas from what I know, and real pychopaths are not walking around alone in forests but are instead in cities with lots of "friends" and have good people skills.

I used to visit the tunnel over 4 years. I have unexplained pictures,voices. Once 2 unknown men talking to each other about the girl who was with us! It's not just the tunnel also the land (path) around it that unexplainable things appear. We have also heard the foot steps of a large man walking towards us.
He's right regarding someting following you back. The entertaiment valve quickly fades once you have a personel encounter with this entity.
What ever it is,LEAVE it and the tunnel alone.

we walked through, walked back, stopped at the front, took some pictures, and atone point, i heard footsteps walking in the distance, they were walking towards me, then they stopped. But right when we were about to leave, we heard running on the wood floorboards, and i felt it run right past me.
