Can you really call it "ripping" and "cross cutting" when you're working with plywood?? I only use the terms referencing solid wood for obvious reasons.
@0248959 That's true.. however, when you're talking about plywood, you're talking about sheets of wood that are laid cross grain. For that reason, there really isn't any "ripping" direction.

@DHAtEnclaveForensics I think ripping is when you cut along the length whereas crosscutting is when you cut along the width of the board
