  • 427camer was not a hemi the boss 429 was the closest ford engine to a hemi but is more like a"semi-hemi"

  • Chrysler designed it, Ford Perfected it and got DQ'd, ahah. First On Race Day. F.O.R.D.

  • dont let the little bowtie crowd see this video or they will start crying all over again like they did when the 427 cammer cam out and whooped all over the racing world back in the late 60`s and cried so hard they got it banned from racing !!

  • do a little research on the Ford 427 cammer and you may learn it was banned from nascar. This has to be one of the most impressive motors ever built.

  • Ford Hemi? Hmmm!

    I don't recall ford making a Hemi.

Oh, your just capitalizing on the Chrysler Hemi...silly me!

  • @kanukster ...You need to do a simple google search before you speak

The 427 Cammer was produced in the 60's

  • @m2race Semi-Hemi doesn't count. Besides, having an 8 foot long timing chain is just asking for trouble.

  • @kanukster Also look up the For GAA sherman tank engine.

1100 cid 4 valve per cylinder DOHC Hemispherical head, all aluminum engine, circa 1940's

And the 429 boss and racing versions

  • @kanukster Ford had "HEMI" heads long before Chrysler! GAA tank engine look it up.Is Chrysler still around?.

  • @kanukster Ford made a Hemi long before Chrysler! The flat head was also a "Hemi"

  • What kind of RPM is that motor turning? Holy hell you must have some serious exotic internals in that thing!

  • @9b8 about 8500, Billet crank and Rods, Venolia Pistons.

  • @m2race I figured as much. But would that be billet rods, like Manely Pro Series I beams or Oliver Racing Billet I beams, or something more custom? Man she's a screamer though. No doubt has some VERY GOOD valve train parts, lol.

  • Is that a ford motorsports 4 bolt main block or are you running a girle in a 2 bolt main? and is the crank nodular?or steel?are you running 2.55 intake valves?and 2.00 exhaust valves?and is it streetable?is the manifold designed like a medium riser or a tunnel port?is it a wet or dry head?do you run a stepped header to get the high exhaust flow charge?at what R.P.M. do you develope all this power?

  • BEAST!!!

  • beat that ricers ,not likely

  • not to be mean or anything, but you should have done a cammer 427 turbo :)

  • not to be mean or anything, but you should have done a cammer 428 turbo :)

  • Okay wheres the chevy guys going yeah ford sucks well keep talking i think this engine would eat a car and a half

  • i know right! chevy guys can eat shit on this one!

  • any chance of seeing this beast of machinery in a vehicle anytime soon?

  • Anthony DiSomma has been testing all summer.

It should be at the Shakedown at E-Town in Oct.

  • very impressive!!

I was wondering what a mixture like this would sound like... it is AWESOME!

any idea where I can get the block you have?

and the rest of the parts? ; )

  • that is what the doctor ordered

  • That is badass

  • HEMI heads?

  • Yup, CNC ported by M2 with custom titanium valves and triple springs with over 400lb on the seat. :-)

  • @m2race Holy hell! 400lbs?!?! How the heck does the thing even turn over?

  • ford hemi??? how the hell does that work??

  • The original Ford Hemi was the 429 which came in the Boss 429 Mustang in '69 and '70. This engine is loosely based off of it but is assembled from all new modern race engine parts.

  • 427 SOHC, 1964, The original Ford Hemi.

  • i wants... boost a 4 cylinder you have decent hp. boost a big block and you have massive earth shattering power.

Ill take the big block any day

    "NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT"

  • Exactly man, I wish the import guys would understand that lol. Amen
