you took the electric fans off? or the pulleys? I was thinking about using different pulleys. someone told me if i wanna used my power steering pump from the 307 engine, I have to use the pulleys form it. is that true
Years ago (when I was young) I got a hold of a 71 rocket w/ 60,000 miles on it. I punched out 30 over. Put 10.5 to 1 flat tops in and a mild cam with a 4 barrel, headers and dropped it in an 79 olds with 3:73s (I took out the old 2:56) and ran low 13's. No alum intake. Nothing big, just good old Olds muscle!

Still won't turn on, i put oil in the cylinders and im letting it drip to the oil pan, im also gonna change the fuel and oil filter, if that doesn't do the trick then im probably going to abandon it.
did u try 24 volts, if the engin was sitting for a long tine , might be seiged, i used to use 24 volts , also try some zmax. it soakes in to the metal, also check your fule pump and oil pump.
