I live in Shawnee, KS and the ice in 2008 made this tree crack in half. What county do you live in cause i heard that train and i hear that all the time in Shawnee.
Thanks for posting the video! Brings back many childhood memories. I was born and raised in Topeka, but I live in Vermont now. I wish we had snowfall like this video shows *here*. my first winter in VT (15 years ago) we got 108" of snow in one night. My wife claims that that's normal! ugh.
I always enjoy videos of topeka. my dad grew up there, and most of my family's there, but i'm stuck in st. louis. i love going there when it snows, though. I feel as though I've grown up in kansas. thanks for sharing!!
This brings back memories. I lived not far from where you're at, on 10th st. near stormont-vail hospital. I remember walking outside at about 2am after a snowfall. So sublime,quiet and beautiful. Thanks for the memories.
brings back memories of when i lived in northern Ohio. where they are getting a pounding of snow. was 60 degrees here in E. TN. Tuesday. I remember the way the snow lights up the nice and its so quiet. Like a virgin moment. thanks for sharing this
